Today I am going to summarize the past five postings to give you a concise list of twenty things you should never eat. Eliminating these 20 health-destroyers from your diet and kitchen are a few of the keys to eating healthy and good nutrition. If you are serious about protecting and improving your health through making wise nutritional choices, then please take to heart this list of 20 specific "foods," food ingredients, and food additives to avoid at all costs.
TWENTY KEYS TO EATING HEALTHY: BANISH THESE 20 FOODS AND ALL FOOD PRODUCTS MADE WITH THEM FOREVER FROM YOUR DIET AND FROM YOUR CHILDREN'S DIET. They are extremely unhealthy, they will destroy your health and cause you multiple physical problems, they will make you crave more bad food, they will make you fatter, and they will have a cumulative effect on your health in a very very negative way. I have already explained in earlier postings the reason for avoiding these products, so I won't repeat myself. Eliminate these twenty health-destroyers from your diet:
1. Never eat pork meat or pork products. This includes bacon, sausage, ham, pepperoni, salami, hot dogs, pork chops, pork ribs, etc. This also includes many different kinds of deli luncheon meats that contain pork products.
2. Avoid all shellfish scavenger crustaceans such as crabs, lobsters, clams, oysters, scallops, shrimp, etc. They are the garbage collectors of the ocean.
3. Avoid all fish that do not have fins and scales such as catfish, eel, etc. Also, avoid all "farm-raised" fish.
4. Avoid all birds or fowl that are flesh-eating scavengers and unclean.
5. Avoid any "food" that wasn't a food 100 years ago.
6. Avoid all refined, bleached, denatured products that contain white processed sugar, white processed flour, "enriched" wheat flour, white processed rice, and white processed salt (sodium chloride). This includes such products as white breads, rolls, buns, pastries, cookies, cakes, pastas, pizza dough, etc.
7. Never eat or drink products made with white artificial sweeteners such as aspartame, Nutra-sweet, Equal, Sucrulose, Splenda, and Saacharin. These are extremely damaging to your body and your health. They are toxins to avoid at all costs.
8. Eliminate all deep-fried foods from your diet which include things like French fries, fried shrimp, donuts, onion rings, etc. These are carcinogenic products.
9. Avoid pasteurized and homogenized milk and dairy products made with this milk, which include such foods as half and half, whole cream, ice cream, sour cream, butter, cheese, etc. Remember, there are healthy alternatives such as RAW milk and raw milk products like raw cheese, raw butter, etc.
10. Never ever eat food products that contain MSG (monosodium glutamate). This excitotoxin is hidden in many food products at restaurants, fast food restaurants, and at supermarkets. It is deceptively labeled in products like potato chips, canned soup, soup stock, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, junk foods, meats, condiments, snacks, corn chips, etc.
11. Eliminate all products containing hydrogenated oil (trans fat), partially hydrogenated oils, margarine, margarine-like products, shortening, Crisco, cottonseed oil, and palm oil.
12. Avoid all fast food which is extremely unhealthy and is loaded with sodium, sugar, bleached & denatured flour, hydrogenated trans fats, toxic colors and flavors like MSG, dangerous chemical preservatives, hormones, antibiotic drugs, and chemicals. Do not let your kids eat this toxic garbage either.
13. Never eat food that has been microwaved.
14. Don't ever drink "tap water" which is loaded with very unhealthy chemicals such as chlorine and fluoride.
15. Avoid tofu. It is not a healthy food; it is disguised junk food.
16. Do NOT eat anything packaged and labeled as "fat free" or "sugar free" or "low carbs" or "net carbs" or "diet..." These products are very unhealthy for you, they will increase your food cravings, and they will actually make you fatter.
17. Avoid the fake fats called "Olestra" and "Olean."
18. Eliminate all soda, diet soda, and canned and bottled juices from your diet. The ingredients in these drinks will destroy your health. Avoid them completely.
19. Avoid all products made with high-fructose corn sweetener, fructose, corn syrup, sucrose, multidextrin, corn syrup solids, dextrose, white sugar, etc. These unhealthy additives are in almost all of the foods at the supermarket and at fast food restaurants.
20. Eliminate all toothpaste with fluoride in it. Fluoride is a toxic poison, and it doesn't ever belong in your toothpaste or water.
There you have it...the simple, unadulterated truth about what "foods" never to eat or drink. I strongly encourage you to avoid these things, banish them from your kitchen, eliminate them from your diet, and be on your guard against them. They will also cause you all kinds of digestion problems. Our country is facing a health crisis because of what has happened to our food supply. Americans are eating themselves to death. The "foods" that Americans are eating are destroying our health and causing a wide spectrum of ill health conditions. The only way for us to turn this around is by changing the way that we eat. We must start NOW to make wise food choices, healthy food choices, that will affect and improve our health and the health of our children. Please join me in this battle to help America start eating right. Call your friends or email them and tell them about this website blog and the valuable information that can turn their lives around. Thank you. Sincerely, the Naked Nutrition Knight.

Banishing These Health Destroyers Is Key to Good Nutrition and Eating Healthy
Hi. Today I hope to finish my list of THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER EAT. I want to give you eight more KEYS to eating healthy. I encourage you to banish these health destroyers from your kitchen and your diet and to start eating healthy. Avoiding the bad foods is one of the keys to good nutrition and vibrant health.
First KEY, eliminate all fast food from your diet. Fast food is extremely unhealthy, and it is usually loaded with tons of sodium, sugar, unhealthy hydrogenated fats, toxic artificial colors and flavors like MSG, dangerous chemical preservatives, and refined flour. In addition, it is often deep fried in old rancid carcinogenic oil, microwaved, cooked to death, and usually contains meats that are loaded with hormones, antibiotic drugs, and chemicals. It is a proven fact in the medical community that once fat of any kind has been heated to high temperatures for a period of time, it undergoes a chemical change and become carcinogenic. Are you really interested in eating an extra large "value pack" of carcinogenic deep-fried French fries with your carcinogenic diet soda? No! Simply put: DO NOT EAT fast food, and do not feed your kids fast food either.
Second KEY, do not eat food that has been microwaved. When food is microwaved, several very unhealthy things happen to your food. Toxins from the plastic covering leach into your food. The composition of your food is actually altered as it is zapped with microwaves, leaving you with "food" that is very unhealthy and denatured. If you don't believe me, do your own research. Google "the dangers of microwave ovens." There is a lot of evidence out there that proves you should never eat anything that has been microwaved. Remember, most restaurants and fast food joints use microwaves constantly to heat up your food. What should you do with your microwave oven? Use it as a storage container for boxes of herbal teas, put your cookbooks in it, or just throw it away. There's zero temptation to use it when it is no longer in your kitchen. Heat stuff up the old fashioned healthier way; your health is worth it.
Third KEY, don't ever drink city tap water. It has a lot of very unhealthy chemicals added to it, including chlorine and fluoride, which are two of the worst. Instead, drink natural "spring" water or artesian well water. But I can't afford it, some might say. Well, how much is your health worth? How much do you spend every week on Aspartame-laced sodas, high-fructose loaded juices, coffee, tea, etc.? Just because tap water is practically free doesn't mean it's good for you or that you should drink it. Fluoride and chlorine are poisons to your body. Drinking tap water every day is like drinking a little amount of poison every day; eventually, it's going to accumulate in your body and destroy your health. I'll share more in depth on this topic at a later time.
Fourth KEY, avoid tofu. Tofu has been touted as a "health food," but the truth is that tofu is a junk food. Sixty percent of the calories in tofu actually come from fat!
Fifth KEY, do NOT eat anything that is packaged and labeled as "fat free" or "sugar free" or "low carbs" or "net carbs" or "diet..." The food manufacturers have jumped on the bandwagon and are trying to deceive you into thinking that their new "diet" products are healthy for you. On the contrary, products with these labels are even more unhealthy for you because they are usually loaded with hidden ingredients that are destructive to your health. For example, "sugar free" means that they've replaced white sugar with an artificial sweetener like Aspartame that is toxic to your system and will make you even fatter. Don't be deceived by these tactics. Simply do not buy or eat products with these deceptive labels on their packaging. They are very unhealthy junk food!
Sixth KEY, avoid the fake fats called "Olestra" and "Olean" and all products made with them. The alleged benefit is that these "cooking oils" add no fat or calories to your diet. This is a chemist's man-made creation that combines vegetable oil and sucrose to produce a molecule similar to fat/triglyceride. This tight structural configuration prevents Olestra from being metabolized by digestive enzymes or colonic microflora. Instead, it literally passes through the GI tract unchanged! This causes a whole host of health problems that you do not want in your body.
Seventh KEY, eliminate all soda, diet soda, and canned or bottled juices from your diet. These are very unhealthy for you because of the high sugar content, high high-fructose corn syrup content, high aspartame content, high acid content, high preservative content, and because of the way it affects your stomach, colon, and blood sugar. Do NOT drink these juices and sodas. Diet soda is one of the worst things you can be putting into your body. It is actually designed to make you fatter! If you don't believe me, do your own research. Eliminate these from your diet and from your kids diets.
Eighth KEY, eliminate toothpaste with fluoride in it. Fluoride is a toxic poison and should never be ingested or rubbed against your gums or body. This is a very controversial topic, but I encourage you to do your own research on it. There's lots of evidence out there that proves that this is toxic to the body and is destroying the health of many Americans. Look for another brand of toothpaste, such as Tom's of Maine that has some fluoride-free toothpaste. Your health food store carries quite a few alternative brands.
We'll have to save the topic of alcoholic beverages, coffee, and caffeinated teas for another day. I hope we're still friends after today's long list of things to eliminate completely from your diet. I speak the truth to you because I care about you and about your health and the health of your children. Your life depends on it!

Eliminating Health-Destroying Food Products is Key to Good Nutrition and Eating Healthy
Welcome to my blog. Today I'm going to share about some more food products that you should never eat or even have in your kitchen. One of the keys to eating healthy is to avoid these kinds of man-made refined food additives. If good nutrition is important to you, please be pro-active and remove these health-destroyers from your diet.
First, never eat food products that contain MSG (monosodium glutamate). MSG is an excitotoxin, is dangerous to your health, makes you fat, increases your appetite, and causes all kinds of physical and medical problems. Check out the book, Excitotoxins, the Taste that Kills, or the book, In Bad Taste, The MSG Complex. Do your own research on "the dangers of MSG." The food processing companies are putting this dangerous poison into many of our foods under different names in order to deceive the public. Don't be deceived; read labels carefully. Some of the hidden sources of MSG that show up on food labels include: glutamate, glutamic acid, gelatin, calcium caseinate, textured protein, monopotassium glutamate, sodium caseinate, yeast nutrient, yeast extract, yeast food, autolyzed yeast, hydrolyzed protein, hydrolyzed corn gluten, natrium glutamate. Go to www.truthinlabeling.org and copy down the long list of other ingredients that often contain MSG or create MSG during processing. It's surprising to learn that soy sauce and teriyaki sauce create MSG during processing.
Second, eliminate all food products that contain high-fructose corn syrup, fructose, corn syrup, sucrose, multidextrin, corn syrup solids, dextrose, and white sugar. These additives are very unhealthy and will make you fat. These are all hidden sources of sugar in food products. In order to deceive you into thinking that sugar isn't the number one ingredient in a product, the food manufacturers will use a variety of sweeteners (as mentioned above) to divide up the sugar under separate names. In this way, wheat, for example, may appear to be the first ingredient (making up the largest ingredient on the label), but the truth is that when you add up all of the separate sweeteners, the sugar content is really the number one ingredient. Warning: food companies are putting high-fructose corn syrup in everything today because it is very inexpensive and because it makes you fatter than other sweeteners. You need to understand - the food industry wants you to be fat because fat people eat more food, thus increasing the sales and profits of the food companies. Become an expert at reading labels and avoiding this health-destroying poison.
Third, avoid all products containing hydrogenated oil (trans fat), partially hydrogenated oils, margarine, margarine-like products, shortening, Crisco, cottonseed oil, and palm oil. These are all man-made products that are actually toxic poisons. These fats attack the artery walls and cause heart problems. They also attack the intestine, kidneys, liver, spleen, and gallbladder, causing untold damage. The bad news is that these oils are virtually in every food product you buy today in the supermarket. Products containing high levels of trans fats include popular products such as Jif and Skippy peanut butter, prepackaged cake icings, candy bars, and almost anything that produces the "smooth mouth feel" on the tongue. These oils and margarine are as close as you can get to eating plastic. Despite what television ads try to say, butter is actually better for you than margarine. The main problem with all of these oils/fats is that we have taken natural foods and altered them into man-made toxic substances that the body cannot handle. One last word, avoid all products with cottonseed oil and palm oil, which are very unhealthy. Cotton is not even a food; it's what we make clothing out of. Why would you want to eat it? In summary, never eat anything that has hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils, margarine, cottonseed oil, or palm oil in them. They are simply toxic and deadly to the body.

Mystery Meat MacroPhotography by NewsTarget Will Convince You to Start Eating Healthy
Graphic macro-images of "meats" that Americans eat & feed their kids every day...that are absolutely disgusting. If nothing else convinces you to stop eating pork products, this will! Remember, you become what you eat. If you eat this kind of extremely fatty "meat," your flesh will look just like these photos. Change your mind first, and then you can change your ways. Good nutrition begins with eating healthy whole foods and avoiding health-destroying toxic foods like these.

Avoiding These Unhealthy Dairy Products is Key to Good Nutrition and Eating Healthy
I've got a little more bad news to share with you today and hope you don't get too upset from reading this list of things you should never eat or drink. One of the keys to good nutrition is obviously to avoid bad (mal)nutrition. In fact, many people who aren't eating healthy are physically malnourished because they are putting bad nutrition into their bodies daily. You become what you eat, so think carefully about what you put into your body everyday. Cheer up! The GOOD NEWS is that once you rid your diet of these health-destroying food products, and you replace them with fresh natural living whole foods, your body will start repairing itself, rejuvenating itself, and rebuilding itself into the healthy vigorous body that God intended for you to live in.
Avoid pasteurized and homogenized milk and dairy products. This includes products made with this kind of milk such as cheese, butter, sour cream, ice cream, whole cream, half and half, etc. I won't go into all the reasons why you should avoid these, but I will tell you that they are not good for your health. In fact, did you know that 60% of the allergies afflicting Americans are directly related to the consumption of dairy products. About 5 days ago, I said that raw milk is an excellent food for those who are milk tolerant, and a poison for those who are not. Certified raw milk from healthy animals fed organic food can have some health benefits...if you are not lactose intolerant and don't have any dairy allergies. However, today's pasteurized homogenized supermarket milk is loaded with toxic and dangerous drugs and chemicals and has pesticide, herbicide, and detergent residues that make it not fit for human consumption. Some of the most common negative effects of drinking milk include allergic respiratory reactions producing increased levels of mucous, nasal stuffiness, runny nose, sinusitus, asthma-like symptoms, and inner ear inflammations. Dairy products have been linked to a whole bunch of physical health problems. Do your own research and find out for yourself. Simply google "the dangers of milk" or "the dangers of dairy products." Search for the truth!
If you love milk and just have to have it, then here's my suggestion. Find a place where you can buy fresh RAW "farmer's" milk from healthy organically-fed cows. Also, consider drinking RAW certified goat's milk because it is a much better alternative for people of all ages (and especially for babies & children) and doesn't cause nearly as many allergy problems. Goat's milk is much closer in nutritional composition to mother's milk than cow's milk. The best raw milk products for your body are in the soured (cultured) form such as yogurt, kefir, acidophilus, or regular buttermilk or clabbered milk. Soured milk products are in a predigested form and are easy to assimilate, and they help maintain a healthy intestinal flora, while preventing intestinal putrefaction and constipation. Infants should be breast-fed on mother's milk, and if that is not possible, then goat's milk should be used (never baby formula). If you're lactose intolerant or you're like me and you just simply don't even like milk, but you're still looking for something to pour over your organic cereal, then I would recommend nutritious rice milk or almond milk (not soy milk). Also, I strongly recommend only using raw cheese and raw butter (unsalted). If you love ice cream, either make your own from raw milk or try an alternative such as Rice Dream.
Friends, I hope you will join me tomorrow when I will share some more man-made food products and additives that you should never eat.

Eating Good Healthy Nutrition Means Avoiding These Health-Destroying Man-Made Products
I hope we're still friends after yesterday's posting about avoiding all pork products and all shellfish scavengers. Today I need to share some more "foods" that you should NEVER EAT. You need to take charge of your own health by avoiding these modern health-destroying toxic products. One of the major keys to good nutrition and eating healthy is avoiding these dangerous products that are everywhere, even in health food stores. Make up your mind right now to avoid all refined, processed, denatured, fattening, pre-packaged, sugar-laden, overcooked, toxic, man-made "foods." The simple truth is: "If it wasn't a food 100 years ago, it's not food!" When you're out shopping for groceries, ask yourself, "Was this a food 100 years ago?" If not, don't buy it and don't eat it. Remember, you become what you eat.
Avoid all refined, bleached, denatured products that contain white processed sugar, white processed flour, "enriched" wheat flour, white processed rice, and white processed salt (sodium chloride). This group includes white breads, rolls, buns, pastries, cookies, cakes, sugary desserts, pastas, pizza dough, etc. These products have had the "life" ripped out of them and offer your body zero nutrition and empty carbs. Don't eat them; get them out of your diet and out of your kitchen.
Avoid all products made with white artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame, Nutra-sweet, Equal, Sucrulose, Splenda, and Saacharin. These toxic sweeteners are in almost every artificially sweetened beverage, soda, candy bar, gum, junk food, etc. Read the labels and beware of these dangerous toxins. Aspartame breaks down in the body into its component chemicals including methanol (methyl alcohol or wood alcohol), aspartic acid, phenylalanine, and diketopiperazine (DKP). Each of these component parts is in itself a known toxin. When methanol is metabolized by the body, it is broken down into formaldehyde (as in embalming fluid) and formic acid. The major toxic effect of methanol is exerted upon the central nervous system. The optic nerve is particularly affected, and possibly the retinae, which can lead to permanent blindness.
Numerous health specialists have spoken out against aspartame use because of its dangers to our health. Dr. Monte of Arizona State University called aspartame a "crime against humanity," and he argued that when a person ingests aspartame, it breaks down into deadly methanol within one hour of ingestion. Dr. Monte stated that "Aspartame is a drug, not a food additive." The years that followed the release of this toxic chemical into the American food supply have been met with literally thousands of consumer complaints of products containing aspartame. Of all the complaints in the Adverse Reaction Monitoring System, aspartame accounts for over 75% of them!
I encourage you to do your own research on aspartame. Type "the dangers of aspartame" into the Google search engine. Check out the Aspartame Consumer Safety Network started in 1987 by Mary Stoddard who experienced many debilitating effects from consuming NutraSweet products. The evidence is out there that proves that this toxic chemical artificial sweetener is causing a multitude of major health problems in America. All I can say at this point is: avoid it like the plague! It's a drug, it's toxic, it's not fit for human consumption, and it has deadly physical effects on the body.
Finally, avoid all deep-fried foods. They are extremely unhealthy and are usually cooked in unhealthy rancid oils that are seldom changed and that can become carcinogenic due to the very high temperatures they are subjected to. Eating deep-fried foods is harmful to your body and simply unwise.
I'll stop there for today, but tomorrow I'll share some more "foods" that you should never eat. Until then, I hope you're still my friend and still reading, and I hope that you avoid these health-destroying man-made foods at all costs. Some of today's information came from Ted Broer's book, "Maximum Energy."

Learning What Animals & Seafood NOT to Eat Is a Key to Good Nutrition and Eating Healthy
Okay, my friends, today I'm going to talk about what "foods" you should avoid. I hope that I don't lose your friendship today or your faithful readership because I'm going to be talking about some foods that you probably love and can't imagine living without. Nonetheless, I am compelled to share the truth with you, in love, because I believe that knowing the truth will set you free from a whole host of physical health problems that have been causing you to be predisposed to ill-health.
One of the KEYS to good nutrition and eating healthy is to learn what NOT to eat. Simply put, knowing what not to eat is just as important as knowing what to eat. I'm going to begin by discussing what animals, fish, and birds we should avoid eating. What I am going to share with you comes from two valuable sources. First, I would like to reference the Bible and what God says about what not to eat. Secondly, I will reference what history, science and research has taught us about what not to eat. Believe it or not, they actually agree.
First, I want to share about the Creator's dietary guidelines as found in the Bible. Doesn't it make sense that after God created man He would teach him how to nourish himself according to healthy dietary instructions? These dietary guidelines are not some form of outdated legalism from Judaism, but rather they were given by a loving Creator to save His people from physical devastation long before modern scientific principles of bacterial infection, hygiene, viral transmission, or molecular cell physiology were understood. In the same way that the moral guidelines preserved the culture of Israel, so these dietary guidelines preserved and protected their physical health.
In the Garden of Eden, God gave mankind every seed-bearing plant and every tree that has fruit with seed in it to be his food (Genesis 1:29). We learn from this that man's first diet was vegetarian and consisted of a combination of fruits, vegetables, greens, seeds, nuts, herbs, lentils, and whole grains. However, after man's fall things started to change. Eventually, God prescribed a broader diet for mankind just after the flood which included specific meat, fish, and dairy products (Genesis 9:1-4; Leviticus 11; Deuteronomy 14).
This divine dietary revision clearly identified which animals were to be eaten and which animals were to be avoided. The animals that were permitted were: animals with a cloven or split hoof that also chew the cud (such as cows, goats, sheep, oxen, deer, buffalo, etc.); any fish with fins and scales; and any birds that live primarily on insects, grubs, or grains.
The animals that were NOT to be eaten included camels, horses, rats, skunks, dogs, cats, squirrels, possums, etc. Pigs were also forbidden and considered unclean animals. In fact, pigs are so unclean and polluted that God warned people not to even touch the body, meat, or carcass of a pig. According to many authorities today, eating the flesh of pigs (pork & pork products) is a prime cause of much of our American ill health. In addition, fish or water creatures that don't have fins and scales and all shellfish were considered unclean and forbidden, including catfish, eel, crabs, lobsters, shrimp, oysters, and clams. These hard-shelled crustaceans are the scavengers and garbage containers of the waters and the seas. Modern scientists actually gauge the contamination of our lakes, rivers, bays, and oceans by measuring the mercury and biological toxin levels in the flesh of crabs, clams, oysters, and lobsters. The last category to avoid eating is birds or fowl that eat flesh (whether caught live or as carrion). These birds are unclean and are considered "scavengers" because they eat anything that is left dead in the fields. Scavengers such as shellfish and pigs were never created by God for human consumption.
The second source for my information is what history, science, and research has taught us about what we should NOT be eating. I encourage you to do some basic research using Google to search for more information on this topic. Type in some key words like "the dangers of eating pork or pork products," "the dangers of eating shellfish," "the dangers of eating unclean animals, etc. Look into what scientists and nutritionists have discovered about the dangers of eating the "foods" listed above such as pork products and shellfish. Also, investigate how generations of Jewish families followed God's dietary and hygiene guidelines and enjoyed remarkable resistance to illness and plagues, which devastated neighboring ethnic groups with no such guidelines. Study how the bubonic plague wiped out one quarter of Europe's population in just one year during the mid-fourteenth century, and how the Jewish people somehow escaped its death grip.
Sadly, and to our own detriment, pork and pork products top the list of favorite foods for many Americans. Many don't even realize how much of their food items come from swine. Pork products include the following: bacon, sausage, ham, pepperoni, hot dogs, salami, pork chops, pork ribs, etc. Pigs are considered "unclean" animals for very good scientific reasons. They never limit their diet to vegetation, but rather they will eat anything they can find. A pig's single stomach is very simple in design and function and it is combined with a limited excretory organ system. Only four hours after a pig has eaten his polluted swill and other putrid matter, many may eat the same swill second handed off of the ribs of the pig at a barbecue. Clean animals, on the other hand, have an alimentary canal and a secondary cud receptacle. They basically have three stomachs available to process and refine their clean, vegetarian-based food into "meat flesh" in a process that that generally takes about 24 hours. Another reason not to eat "unclean" animals is that the meat of such animals is about 10 times more perishable and more difficult to preserve than that of "clean" animals. People often don't realize that a piece of meat is already poisonously spoiled until they start experiencing the toxic symptoms and have already eaten it. One more reason is that th by-products that originate from digesting such scavenger meat are very poisonous. These are the "death enzymes" such as putrescine and cadaverine that are useful in breaking down a corpse, but do terrible damage to a living person's body.
In summary, we need to pay attention to our Creator's dietary principles and what modern science, nutrition, and history have discovered about what "foods" NOT to eat. "FOODS" to AVOID include, but are not limited to: pig & all pork products (bacon, sausage, ham, pork ribs, etc.) and all shellfish scavengers such as shrimp, lobster, crab, clams, oysters, scallops, etc. Be careful also to avoid luncheon deli meat that often is made with pork products and are loaded with sodium nitrates. Finally, avoid all "farm-raised" fish which are very unhealthy for you. Remember this simple saying: "If you want to look like a pig, eat a pig."
Tomorrow I will share more about what other non-animal food products to avoid. I hope you're still my friend when tomorrow rolls around. Some of the information in this posting came from Dr. Jordan Rubin's book, "The Maker's Diet," which I recommend. I also recommend Ted Broer's book, "Maximum Energy."

We Must Complement Good Nutrition and Eating Healthy with Organic Whole Food Supplements
What is the SECRET to enjoying the health and vitality experienced by our forefathers? The answer is simple and indisputable: Live Whole Food Nutrition! For centuries our ancestors received good nutrition from whole food sources such as grains, seeds, legumes, beans, nuts, vegetables, greens, sprouts, fruits and berries. These were all grown in chemical-free and pesticide-free soil that was rich in probiotics, minerals, fulvic acid, and enzymes.
In today's world, our bodies still need the complete and natural balance of pure nutrients and energy provided by live whole foods. The demands of our modern fast-paced stressful world have led to the processing of food to the point of non-nutrition. Authentic food value has been sacrificed for convenience. Due to the life-destroying practices of the food-producing and food-processing industries, our modern-day foods are nutritionally inferior to the food our grandparents ate 2 or 3 generations ago. The grains, vegetables, meat, and dairy products they ate had a higher vitamin, mineral, and protein content, and they were free from DDT, hormones, preservatives, insecticides, and other chemicals and drugs. The natural live whole food that our ancestors ate has been replaced with chemically modified products that can cause illness and many physical health problems.
In this day and age, we are not only eating food, but our food is eating us. Some people try to counteract the impact of poor nutrition with "processed nutritional supplements" in the form of man-made isolated synthetic vitamins (lifeless chemicals) and inorganic minerals that their bodies cannot use and that are only slightly more beneficial than the processed foods that created the problem.
The solution to this national nutritional crisis we are facing is simply getting back to basics. We need to get back to a complete balance of live whole foods, just the way that nature intended for healthy lifestyles. Supplementing our diet with live whole food nutritional products will provide that balance we need. The KEY to this balance is feeding your body the live whole food nutrition that it knows and that it needs.
The prime purpose of taking daily nutritional whole food supplements is to fill in the nutritional gaps produced by poor eating habits and by nutritionally-inferior foods. Let's face it: Americans are not known for eating healthy. We are known for our fast food restaurants, our junk food, our super sweet and overly fat foods. Food supplements will replace in your diet the good nutrition that is missing in food grown on depleted soils, lost in storage and transportation, and removed by food processing.
Another important reason to add to your diet live whole food nutritional supplements is that they provide your only available protection against the harmful effects of today's toxic environment. Many of the nutrients in organic whole food supplements have protective properties against the damaging effects of poisonous additives, residues, and poisons that are lurking in our air, water, food, clothing, cosmetics, household cleaners, etc.
In conclusion, there are two main reasons to take whole food supplements. The first reason is because today's food is not as nutritious as it was 100 years ago as a result of farming methods that have leached the soil of necessary minerals and nutrients. The second reason is that today's food, water, air, and living environments are loaded with toxins that need to be combated with supplements in order to protect our health. If you are interested in finding out more about an amazing live whole food nutritional supplement called "The Feast," go to the top left corner of my blog and click on the link that says "Try the Feast - the single most nutritional experience of your life." Keys to Healthy Eating Habits & Good Nutrition: Matching 3 Food Groups with 3 Meal Times
A few days ago we discussed good nutrition and the three key food groups that should make up your daily nutritional diet. Today I would like to teach you how to develop healthy eating habits around those three food groups in relation to what time of the day is best for each group. One specific food group should supply the majority of each of your three main meals.
Breakfast - Fresh Fruit (Food Group #3) Your daily breakfast should be made up of fruits. As mentioned earlier, fruits must always be eaten alone on an empty stomach. So, why eat fruits first in the day? The reason is because mornings are when your body is in the process of cleansing itself through the process of elimination. While you are sleeping at night, from 11 pm to 5 am, your digestive, assimilative, and restorative systems are hard at work processing the food you ate from the previous 12-14 hours. Your eliminative system, however, is resting. Then, during the morning hours of 5 am to 11 am, your body kicks in to elimination mode and starts cleansing itself of impurities and toxins through your eliminative organs via your skin, lungs, kidneys, and alimentary canal. Eating a large breakfast early in the morning disrupts this cleansing and elimination process. In order to assist and work with your body to help in its cleansing and elimination process, in the early morning your body needs lots of fresh air, lots of natural spring water, and vigorous exercise or physical work. Then, and only then, is your body ready for a breakfast of fresh juicy fruits.
Follow the advice of legendary health writer and life extension specialist, Paul Bragg, who said, "You must earn your breakfast." Think back 100 years ago to the American farmers who rose early and immediately went out to do their heavy chores (feeding the animals, milking the cows, working in the garden, preparing food) BEFORE they sat down to eat their breakfast. It is simply not healthy to eat a large protein-rich breakfast right after waking up in the morning. Give your body time in the morning to cleanse itself while you exercise or work for a while BEFORE you feed it from the fruit food group. I have personally practiced this principle for many years and have found that doing so keeps me "regular" and assists in the daily morning elimination process. I strongly encourage you to follow this sound scientific advice and start working with your body.
Lunch - Grains, Beans, Seeds, & Nuts (Food Group #1) Your biggest meal should be eaten at lunch, and it should consist of grains, beans, seeds, and nuts. By way of reminder, this is the most important and potent health-building food group of all. Grains and legumes in the form of cooked porridge or cereal, or bean, pea, or lentil soup, are best eaten during lunch. You can combine a few fresh vegetables with your cereal meal at lunch. For example, rice can be combined with vegetables.
Dinner - Fresh Vegetables (Food Group #2) The bulk of your dinner should consist of fresh vegetables (raw and lightly cooked). Always eat a large raw vegetable salad during dinner. You can also add potatoes, yams, squash, or any of your favorite raw or steamed vegetables, stews, soups, or other dishes. Keep in mind that you can combine a few things from food group #1 with this meal such as bread, beans, rice, or corn in moderation. However, the major portion of dinner should always be vegetables.

More Keys to Eating Good Healthy Nutrition
Yesterday we talked about the three most important health-building food groups that we should be eating from every day. The three key nutrition groups were grains, legumes, beans, seeds, and nuts; fresh vegetables; and fresh fruit. Today I would like to discuss some complementary foods that can be added to your diet if used in moderation.
1. COLD-PRESSED VEGETABLE OILS - Most commercial supermarket oils should be avoided because they are produced either with the use of extremely high temperatures or with the process known as chemical extraction (cold-processed). Both of these methods result in a processed, filtered, refined, bleached, deodorized, and unnatural toxic oil. Avoid these popular oils which are often inexpensive compared with the truly healthy oils. You want to look for high-quality, cold-pressed, fresh, unrefined, unprocessed, and unheated oils. Sure, they will cost more than the toxic oil, but they are good for your body in moderation. In my opinion, the three best oils are extra virgin olive oil, extra virgin coconut oil, and sesame seed oil. Keep these three oils on hand, in metal containers or dark bottles preferably. Don't keep them stored in plastic bottles. Refrigerate your oils because natural oils can turn rancid very quickly. And remember that the best way to get the needed saturated and unsaturated fats in your diet is by eating natural fat-containing foods such as nuts, seeds, grains, avocados, raw milk, etc.
2. RAW HONEY - Raw, natural, unheated, unfiltered, and unprocessed pollen-rich honey is one of the best sweeteners to include in your diet. Honey has always been the ancient natural sweetener used by the healthiest people in the world. For example, most centenarians in Russia and Bulgaria use honey as their only sweetener. In fact, a high percentage of these centenarians are actually bee farmers who eat the darkest, cloudiest, unfiltered raw honey they collect. Honey is known the world over to have medicinal-type properties and almost miraculous nutritional properties. One word of caution: use honey in moderation (1-2 teaspoons a day). Using too much honey (or any sweetener) may adversely affect the pancreas, liver, and adrenals, and cause blood sugar problems. One final warning: avoid at all costs white processed sugar, white artificial sweeteners such as Aspartame, Nutra-sweet, Sucrulose, Splenda, and Saacharin. These man-made highly processed artificial sweeteners are toxic to your body and are causing a whole array of major health problems in our country.
3. RAW MILK - Raw milk is an excellent food for those who are milk tolerant and a poison for those who are not. If you are milk tolerant, you can supplement your diet with high-quality, uncontaminated, raw milk from healthy animals that are grass fed or fed organic food. The best way to consume milk is in its cultured sour form such as yogurt, kefir, acidophilus milk, or regular buttermilk. This soured form is better for you because it is in a predigested form and is easily assimilated. In addition, it helps to maintain a healthy intestinal flora and can prevent intestinal putrefaction and constipation. Goat's milk is better than cow's milk for people of every age. A word of caution: today's pasteurized and homogenized supermarket milk is loaded with toxic and dangerous drugs, chemicals, and residues of herbicides, pesticides, and detergents, and is not fit for human consumption. If you're going to drink or eat milk products, make sure they are made from raw milk from healthy animals. If you are concerned about good nutrition and eating healthy, consider adding these three foods to your diet in moderation.

Nutrition Food Group Keys to Eating a Good Healthy Diet

According to Dr. Paavo Airola, world-renown nutritionist, the optimum diet for superior health should be made up primarily of three basic whole food groups. These foods are universally adaptable and will supply adequate amounts of all the nutrients required for the maintenance of optimum health, including high-quality proteins in sufficient amounts. It is important to eat healthy and create your daily menu from foods of these three key food groups that are indigenous to your area and grown locally (on organic farms whenever possible). Make sure that your diet is composed of a variety of fresh whole foods from these three food groups.
#1. Grains, Legumes, Beans, Seeds, and Nuts - This is the most important and potent health-building food group of all. The good nutrition of these foods is unsurpassed because they contain the secret of life itself - the germ! The germ is the reproductive power and spark of life in all seeds, and it is essential to life, health, and reproductive ability. This food group contains all of the essential nutrients for human growth and maintenance of health. Even though all grains and seeds are beneficial, it is best to predominantly eat those that your ancestors ate and those that are grown locally.
Contrary to what you may have heard, buckwheat, almonds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and peanuts all contain complete proteins, which are comparable in biological quality value to animal proteins. This food group is also the best natural source of essential unsaturated fatty acids, which are necessary to maintain health. The vitamin content (especially vitamin E and the B-complex vitamins) of this food group is unsurpassed. Grains, nuts, and seeds are also a treasure chest of minerals and trace elements. Minerals also help balance the body chemistry, especially regarding alkalinity and acidity. This group also contains pacifarins, which increase the body's natural resistance to physical ailments. And finally, whole grains, legumes, beans, and seeds provide the body with necessary fiber and roughage content. This is critical to avoiding all kinds of colon and intestinal tract problems that currently plague our nation as a result of refined and processed foods.
The best grains to eat are buckwheat, oats, millet, and brown rice. Most other grains are beneficial, but be careful with wheat because it is one of the most common allergens today. These grains can be eaten daily in the form of cereal, porridge, breads, pancakes, soups, etc. or sprouted. Cooking grains or sprouting them actually helps release the vital minerals by breaking down the mineral-phytin bond so that minerals can be assimilated in the intestinal tract. The best seeds are flax seeds, chia seeds, sesame seeds, and pumpkin seeds. Beware of sunflower seeds because they are extremely vulnerable to rancidity. The best nuts are almonds and hazelnuts. Do NOT buy roasted nuts and seeds because the high heat renders them carcinogenic. Always and only eat fresh raw nuts and seeds, including raw almond butter and raw peanut butter.
#2. Vegetables - This is the next most important food group to incorporate into your daily diet. Vegetables are a rich source of minerals, vitamins, and enzymes. Most green leafy vegetables also contain the highest quality complete proteins. Some vegetables, such as green beans, squash, yams, and potatoes, should be steamed or baked. However, most vegetables should be eaten RAW in the form of a daily salad. A few exceptions would be spinach and chard, which contain too much toxic oxalic acid, and asparagus. Cabbage-family vegetables should be either cooked or prepared in lactic-acid-fermented form. Garlic and onions are powerful health-promoting vegetables and should be part of your diet. Other excellent vegetables are Jerusalem artichokes, horse radish, black radish, celery root, and parsley. Be sure to also include root vegetables in your diet such as carrots, potatoes, beets, turnips, parsnips, and yams. Potatoes are extremely nutritious and are best baked or steamed. Keep in mind that potatoes must be kept in dark storage because a highly toxic chemical, solanine, develops when they are exposed to light. Also, be sure to remove the "eyes" (sprouts) of the potatoe before cooking.
#3. Fruits - Fruits are a powerful source of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, as well as easily digestible fruit sugars. In addition, they are an excellent cleansing food for breakfast, and they can be eaten between meals, but not with meals. It is best to eat fruits RAW, fresh, and in season, because they lose their vitamin content quickly. It is also beneficial to eat sun-dried fruits, but they must be unsulfured and preferably organically grown. Avoid all dried fruits with sulfur preservatives. The best sun-dried fruits to eat are raisins, figs, apricots, and currants. Now, two cautions about eating fruit: eat fruit in moderation and eat fruit on an empty stomach, by itself. Eating too much fruit will put too much sugar into your blood stream, and eating fruit with other foods will cause them to putrefy in your system and lead to poor digestion.

8 Keys to Eating Healthy Nutrition Properly - Part 2
Today we will discuss the remaining 5 keys to eating healthy nutrition properly. Our emphasis is on HOW to eat correctly because your eating habits will affect your health.
Key #4 - Practice conscious under-eating. The less you eat, the better you will feel because your digestive system will not be overloaded. This is the Number 1 health and longevity principle. Remember, over-eating is one of the main causes of premature aging and degenerative illnesses.
Key #5 - Eat fruit by itself. Don't mix fruit with your meal; it is best eaten alone for digestion purposes. Many older people say that they can't eat fruit because it gives them gas. However, the real problem is not the fruit, but rather that they are eating fruit along with other foods which causes it to putrefy in their systems. The secret to eating fruit is simply to eat it by itself on an empty stomach.
Key #6 - Eat your whole meal within a one-hour period. Do not go past 60 minutes because your body will kick in another boost of insulin.
Key #7 - Learn not to drink fluids while eating your meal. Liquids will only dilute the digestive enzymes and slow down the whole digestion process. There is a time to drink lots of liquids, and that time is between meals, not during meals.
Key #8 - Give thanks to God for the food He provides you. Be grateful for the abundance of His provision.
Bonus Suggestions - Eat several smaller meals in preference to two larger meals. Also, try not to mix too many foods at any one meal. Keeping it simple will enhance your digestion and assimilation. And finally, don't mix raw vegetables and raw fruits at the same meal because the digestive enzymes are incompatible, and this will result in gas and poor digestion.

8 Keys to Learning How to Eat Healthy Good Nutrition Properly - Part I

Knowing WHAT good nutrition to eat is critical to eating healthy. However, it's also important to learn HOW to eat properly because the way you eat affects your health. I would like to give you eight keys on proper eating habits.
Key #1 - Eat only when you are truly hungry. If you aren't hungry at mealtime, skip the meal. Too often people end up eating when they aren't even hungry purely out of habit instead of need.
Key #2 - Eat slowly and chew your food well. The enzymes in your saliva begin the digestion process; therefore, chew your food thoroughly. Never eat in a hurry. Far too many people suffer from poor digestion because they don't practice this common sense principle.
Key #3 - Relax when you eat and make it a truly enjoyable culinary experience. This is something we can learn from some of the more laid back southern Europeans who truly take the time to relax and enjoy social time around their meals. Also, never eat when you are upset because your emotional turmoil will lead to digestive turmoil as well.

Eating Healthy Good Nutritious Food Will Be Your Remedy

"Your Food Will Be Your Remedy," said Hippocrates, the great physician-teacher and father of medicine. In this profound maxim, Hippocrates described the secret to living a healthy lifestyle. Natural, organic, fresh fruits, berries, greens, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and sprouts have remarkable nutritive compounds that give life to the human body and help cleanse, purify, and rebuild the body when it is weakened and struggling to overcome ailments. These live whole foods are loaded with thousands of naturally occurring nutritional compounds, vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, antioxidants, live enzymes, and amino acids in their natural synergistic state that can only be obtained from these live foods. These bioavailable nutrients cannot be isolated and placed into a synthetic vitamin or mineral supplement.
Now, think with me for a moment about your daily diet. Is the food you're eating being a "remedy" or a curse to your body? If you were to take Hippocrates' wisdom and apply it to your lifestyle, what would your eating habits look like? What kind of nutrition would you be putting into your body? Which denatured processed toxic foods would you stop buying and stop eating? What fresh produce would you start eating several times a day? I want this blog to be personal and practical, not theoretical. My hope is that the information you learn from this blog will lead you to make some very significant changes to your eating habits. Start applying this ancient wisdom to your diet today by making good nutritional choices one day at a time. Decide right now that your food will be your remedy and that you will start eating healthy.

Good Nutrition & Eating Healthy Are Some of the Keys to a Healthy Lifestyle

I want to begin by saying that it IS possible to be healthy and to create a healthy lifestyle IF you truly want it bad enough. In the end, you, and you alone, determine your health - not your doctor, not your parents, not your spouse, not your genes, and not even God. In fact, God has put the responsibility for your health into your own hands, with the recommendation that you choose LIFE and not death. Every day of your life you will have to make decisions about what you will eat and drink, what you will say and do, and what you will think about. In each of these decisions, you will be choosing life or death, health or ill-health.
This blog will focus on good nutrition and eating healthy as the cornerstone to living a healthy lifestyle. There are other important keys to health: regular exercise and deep breathing, drinking plenty of natural spring water daily, giving your body the rest it needs to rejuvenate itself, detoxifying your body and its environment, giving and receiving love and being forgiving, accepting, and thankful; and developing your spiritual life through a friendship with God. I will touch on these important keys to health occasionally, but the main focus of this blog will be on eating right and giving your body the good nutrition it needs to function the way that God intended it to.
You and I need to be wise regarding what we put into our bodies. The expression, "You are what you eat," is profoundly true and sobering. What we put into our bodies (food & drink) will determine what kind of life we will live. It's a simple "cause-effect" relationship. The cause is what we eat and drink, and the effect is the health or ill-health of our bodies. There is a spiritual principle involved here that comes from the Bible that says, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap." Think for a minute how this applies to what people "sow" into their bodies every day. Whenever a person eats right and puts good nutrition into his body, he will reap health and life. On the other hand, when a person eats badly and puts refined, denatured, toxic, processed food into his body, he will reap malnutrition, ill-health, and premature death. Unfortunately, most people are deceived about this basic principle, and they continue to eat the wrong foods, all the while mystified about the various ailments they are continually suffering from. I am writing this blog to help people get free from this deception, and to guide them to living a healthy lifestyle through changing the way that they eat.
