Dangerous Ingredients - Keys to Good Nutrition & to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food

DANGEROUS INGREDIENTS
Secretly Lurking in Our Foods Today
Here are some examples of what is in many of our foods today - unknown and unseen by the general public.
Hormones, Steroids, Antibiotics found in animal products
Research shows these compounds can be absorbed by fruits and vegetables grown in soil treated with manure from animals fed antibiotics.
Toxins and Pollutants from contaminated soil and water
These can stay in our environment years after they've been banned, such as DDT.
Pesticides, Fertilizers, and Fumigants - These are all unnatural compounds.
MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) - MSG is a neurotoxic flavor enhancer that's hidden in many of our foods under a long list of deceiving names.
Partially Hydrogenated Oil - Gives baked goods and snacks longer shelf life but contains high levels of dangerous trans fat.
High Fructose Corn Syrup
With a high glycemic index, it converts to fat more than any other sugar. Usually made with genetically modified corn and genetically modified enzymes.
Genes from Bacteria, Viruses, Plants, Animals, and even Humans inserted into plants like soybeans, corn, canola, and cotton
Unlike traditional breeding, genetic engineering can create life forms that would normally never exist in nature. Shockingly, U.S. food manufacturers are NOT required to put "genetically modified" on any food labels! This leaves us in the dark.
Artificial Colors and Flavorings
Artificial colors are chemical compounds made mainly from coal-tar; artificial flavors are cheaply produced chemical mixtures that mimic natural flavors.
Artificial Sweeteners
Despite claims that these are "safe" food additives, remember, they are NOT natural. For example, aspartame is made up of three chemicals. These sweeteners are often toxic to the body and cause all kinds of serious health problems.
Benzoate Preservatives
These are phenolic compounds often added to food to preserve fats and prevent fats from becoming rancid; these preservatives produce low levels of hormones.
SO... What's the RESULT of all of these dangerous ingredients in our food?
Food that's been denatured, stripped of much of its nutritional value and integrity, and food that could potentially cause serious health issues.
But with THE FEAST, you get REAL NUTRITION.
Pure, concentrated,
unadulterated,
live,
whole food-based nutrition.
The Feast, by Uri International, is pure nutrition, free of dangerous ingredients.

Junk Food Americans - Keys to Good Nutrition & Eating Healthy on Organic Whole Food

WHAT ARE AMERICANS EATING?
TOO MUCH JUNK FOOD!
An analysis of the diet of Americans reveals that sugary snacks and sodas are consumed more readily than fruits and vegetables.
Researcher Gladys Block, PhD. and Professor of Epidemiology and Public Health Nutrition at the University of California, Berkeley, discovered that at least 30 percent of the total calorie intake of Americans surveyed was from sweets, desserts, salty snacks, fruit-flavored drinks and alcoholic beverages. [ UC Berkeley Press Release by Sarah Yang, June 1, 2004]
The result?
JUNK FOOD that provides calories but not vitamins and minerals - in other words, "EMPTY CALORIES."
Did you know this shocking fact:
89% of Americans DO NOT eat enough fruits and vegetables;
they'd rather eat fast foods or processed foods.
The American Heart Association, World Health Organization, American Cancer Society, and the USDA all agree - everyone needs to EAT MORE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES.
Click on the link below to find out how David Uri LeBaron, the pioneer and innovator of live, whole food-based nutrition, can help you and your family get your 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables each day.
Uri's revolutionary InstaFresh drying process turns freshly juiced fruits and vegetables into a powder in thirty seconds, without every going over 99 degrees F., as crazy as that sounds.
Getting your and your kids their 5-9 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables a day - ONCE DIFFICULT, NOW EASY!

Ultimate Nutrition - Keys to Good Nutrition & Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food

INTRODUCING THE BREAKTHROUGH TECHNOLOGY THAT LOCKS IN THE REAL NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF FRESH ORGANIC FRUITS AND VEGETABLES - GUARANTEED!
This article was written by David Uri LeBaron,
pioneer and innovator of live, whole food-based nutrition,
expert with over 30 years of experience in whole foods, herbs, and nutrition,
developer of the proprietary Insta-Fresh Drying Process that preserves higher nutritional qualities than any other drying process in the world,
and founder and CEO of Uri International, a leading company in the development of whole food-based nutrition.
"Today I'd like to share with you another reason why The Feast gives you REAL nutrition as only whole food-based nutrition can. It's your most convenient source of REAL whole food-based nutrition that's
An unparalleled quality, quantity, variety, and value
of live whole foods and fresh raw juice concentrates.
The Feast gives you a quality, quantity, variety, and value of REAL whole food-based nutrition found nowhere else.
It's the one and only live whole food-based nutritional product on the planet that delivers a full, synergistic spectrum of over 176 all natural ingredients, including:
30 antioxidant rich fruits and berries
30 powerful greens and vegetables
11 nutrient dense seeds, nuts, and sprouts
83 plus active enzymes and full spectrum fulvic mineral blend
22 resilient living, beneficial probiotics
All in ONE concentrated whole food-based supplement for today's active and demanding lifestyles. Feed your body the feast it deserves!
But there's even more.
This unique breakthrough gives you more REAL whole food-based nutrition than any other supplement, formula, or green food or drink I've ever seen because...
It locks in the nutritional INTEGRITY of these fruits, vegetables and whole foods, so you get the nutritional benefits as Nature intended!
As soon as a fruit or vegetable is picked off the vine, it begins to die. So if you eat an apple or a tomato that's been picked days or weeks ago, you don't get all of its nutritional benefits. You may only get a fraction.
But not so with the fruits, vegetables, and whole foods found in the Feast. Many are locally grown, on our own certified organic farmland or on our network of partner farms that produce organic and/or natural crops, so we can control the freshness of the harvest.
This farmland is some of the most nutrient rich soil on earth! This fertile land began as a prehistoric lakebed, layered with deep soil, created and kept rich by volcanic ash, mountain run off, and organic matter.
It's absolutely laden with selenium, friendly and beneficial organisms, fulvic acid, rare earth and vital plant micronutrients necessary for optimal plant growth.
Combine this with clean air, sunshine, elevation, low humidity, proper crop rotation, and continued re-mineralization from surrounding snow capped mountains, and you get SUPERIOR, NUTRIENT DENSE, ORGANIC CROPS!
What's more, I even have samples of the fruits and vegetables delivered to me so I can check if they're ready for harvest. If they are not ready for harvest, we wait. If so, we pick...then quickly wash them, turn them into juice, and use the InstaFresh Drying Process to "lock in" the nutritional value and integrity of these fruits and vegetables.
The result?
A synergistic, all natural, nutritionally balanced combination of Nature's most beneficial whole food concentrates, minerals, enzymes, and probiotics.
All in a delicious, easy-to-use drink!"

InstaFresh Drying Process - Keys to Good Nutrition & Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food

The INSTA-FRESH DRYING PROCESS:
"Back to Basics" with a Cutting Edge Delivery System
Here's the NEW secret behind REAL whole food-based nutrition.
Now, you can get the quality, quantity, variety, intergrity, and value of delicious organic and naturally-grown
fruits and vegetables from the purest sources possible -
all without chopping, peeling, cooking, or juicing or
relying on yucky "green" drinks or fistfuls of pills.
The SECRET to The FEAST is our proprietary InstaFresh Low-Temperature Drying Process, which:
1. Takes newly harvested organic and naturally-grown
fruits, vegetables, greens, berries, nuts, seeds, and sprouts...
2. Makes them into whole food purees and
freshly-pressed 34 degree liquid juice...
3. Turns that juice into a concentrated powder
within 30 seconds with temperatures that
average 65 degrees F and never exceed 100 degrees F
(heat over 100 degrees kills most nutrients and enzymes).
4. All in a timely manner to ensure REAL whole food-based nutrition.
The result? A unique, concentrated whole food-based InstaFresh juice powder that locks in the nutritional value of these fresh, delicious fruits, vegetables and whole foods.
Simply mix this powder with water (or juice) in our unique
URI Shaker Cup and drink it, and you have The Feast:
the most beneficial, nutrient-dense and delicious form of
nutrition I've ever experienced.
In fact, every serving of The Feast is made from almost a half pound of the finest fruits, vegetables, berries, nuts,
seeds and sprouts you can find anywhere.
Why do you get REAL whole food-based nutrition with The Feast?
It all starts with the quality of ingredients.
The first reason why the Feast gives you REAL whole food-based nutrition compared to conventionally grown produce is the superior quality of its ingredients.
The Feast provides you with a unique "certified organic" or naturally grown blend of fruits, vegetables, greens, berries, seeds, nuts, and sprouts that are all free of chemical pesticides and other hazardous and toxic products.
Why is this important?
Because organic foods are more nutritious than conventional foods.
In the biggest and most extensive scientific study done to date on organic foods, it was shown that organic potatoes, tomatoes, wheat, cabbage, onions, and lettuce had between 20-40 percent more nutrients than non-organic foods. (Newstarget.com, Nov. 18, 2007)
The Journal of Alternative and Complimentary Medicine reports that organic crops contain significantly more iron, vitamin C, magnesium and phosphorus, and significantly less nitrates (a toxin) than conventional crops (2001;7;2:161-173).
In addition, www.organicconsumers.org reveals that organic foods have higher nutritional levels of health-promoting antioxidants to keep you healthy.
The BOTTOM LINE:
the more ORGANIC fruits and vegetables you eat, the more nutrition you get. REAL whole food-based nutrition.
In my next posting I will continue with another reason why The Feast gives you REAL nutrition as only whole food-based nutrition can.

Not Your Grandma's Tomato Part III - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy on Organic Whole Food

I'd like to share an article written
by David Uri LeBaron,
pioneer and innovator of live, whole food-based nutrition.
"THIS IS NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S TOMATO! - Part III"
"After more than 30 years of 'hands-on' organic farming
and continuous nutritional research, let me explain why...
this is NOT your grandmother's tomato!
We ended Part II by describing the unhealthy energy drinks
and all that is put into them that is not good for you.
Then I introduced my best creation called, "The FEAST,"
and today I'd like to share with you the origin of the Feast.
Introducing the Breakthrough Technology That Locks in the REAL NUTRITION Value of Fresh Organic Fruits and Vegetables - Guaranteed!
The origin of the Feast begins back in the late 1970s when my family began a small herb harvesting business in the southwestern desert regions of the United States.
When I was seven years old, I began helping in the family business by harvesting wild herbs...and at that time, my lifelong interest in nutrition was sparked. The business flourished, and soon we were providing wildcrafted herb powders to some of the biggest nutritional companies in America.
In the mid 1980s, we began looking for a superior way to preserve the nutritional integrity of whole foods in order to provide a much higher form of quality nutrients than found in typical nutritional supplements. During this time, we began developing a proprietary process for drying live whole foods and fresh raw juices into powder. We began with cereal grasses and herbs.
We discovered that the best way to preserve the nutritional integrity of these grasses and herbs was to dry them using LOW heat and QUICKLY turn them into powder in seconds at very low temperatures. As our processing technology evolved and continually improved, we then turned to processing organic and naturally grown fruits and vegetables.
I knew that if I could make this drying process work for fresh, organic produce, I would be onto something big. The quality of the nutrient dense products resulting from our proprietary process was far superior to anything produced by other nutritional supplement processing techniques. We realized that our proprietary process could revolutionize how we take, absorb, and benefit from vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytonutrients naturally found abundantly in organic produce.
It took years for me to perfect it, but now I'm excited to tell you all about...the PROPRIETARY INSTAFRESH DRYING PROCESS.
In PART IV, I'll share with you the NEW secret behind REAL whole food-based nutrition.
Until then, keep checking back for the next part...

Not Your Grandma's Tomato Part 2 - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
I'd like to share an article written
by David Uri LeBaron,
pioneer and innovator of live, whole food-based nutrition.
"THIS IS NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S TOMATO! - Part II"
"After more than 30 years of 'hands-on' organic farming
and continuous nutritional research, let me explain why...
this is NOT your grandmother's tomato!
We ended Part I of this article with the question:
Why such poor nutritional content in our produce today?
The main culprit is "modern agriculture." Today, most farmers and big food conglomerates use any eans to squeeze as much produce out of an acre of land as they can. Chemical fertilizers. Herbicides. Manipulation of soil and seeds. Genetic engineering. Pesticides. And they've violated time-honored holistic farming methods such as crop rotation and natural pest control and fertilization.
So, over time, our soil gets stripped of nutrients, minerals, and living organisms. No wonder most fruits and vegetables in America are nutritionally deficient.
As I'll explain, The Feast addresses this problem head on. How? With a proprietary drying system that locks in the nutritional content of organic and naturally-grown fruits and vegetables without synthetic vitamins, pasteurization, and preservatives.
The result? You get a vast spectrum of naturally occurring live whole food-based vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients and antioxidants your body needs and deserves.
Still, there another reason why you can't rely on today's common fruits and vegetables to give you real nutrition like you could in the past.
SOME OF OUR MOST TRUSTED FOOD SOURCES MAY BE "TAINTED"
Today, our typical food sources, especially fruits and vegetables, are sprayed with synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals on a regular basis. Just consider these eye-opening facts...
* Pesticide use in agriculture and for home and industrial purposes has increased a whopping 50 percent within just the past three decades.
* Vegetables such as corn, lettuce, and potatoes absorb antibiotics when they're grown in soil spread with manure containing antibiotics.
* Since World War II, more than 80,000 synthetic chemicals have been created and released into the environment, as many as 1,500 new ones each year! These chemicals, even after they're banned, can last a long time in the environment. For example, DDT was banned over 30 years ago, but it can still be found in the breast milk of women all over the world. And DDT can make its way back into our food supply through foods imported from countries where this pesticide is still used.
*High levels of nutrient pollution used in farming and ranching activities are found in lakes and streams. Is it any wonder there are populations of frogs living in these waters with deformities?
Is it any wonder that according to a recent study, 70 percent of consumers buy organic foods to avoid pesticides.
But as I'll explain later, The Feast takes all the worry out of the quality and purity of fruits and vegetables. You get the finest quality organic and naturally grown produce free of pesticides and toxins - in a unique, easy to take, delicious form that you'll love.
If that's not enough, even...
"NATURAL" JUICES AND ENERGY DRINKS ARE NOT WHAT YOU THINK
Still other folks hope to get some or most of the fruits and vegetables they need from so-called "natural" juices. Not so fast!
Did you know that 98 percent of liquid nutritional products on the market are pasteurized? PASTEURIZATION uses high heat to kill bacteria and harmful microorganisms, but at the same time substantially alters or deactivates the majority of good, naturally occurring "live" nutrients and enzymes!
What's more, many of these so-called "natural" juices contain ingredients from "juice concentrates" or "puree concentrates" using heat or a vacuum, which also denatures the nutritional integrity of a fruit or berry. And some of these juices contain ONLY TEN PERCENT OR LESS of the actual key ingredient promised on the label.
What about hot selling ENERGY DRINKS?
The truth is most of them are absolutely loaded with high fructose corn syrup and synthetic caffeine - and there's not much "natural" about these ingredients.
SPECIAL WARNING: A new study at Wayne State University reveals that healthy adults who drank two energy drinks a day saw blood pressure and heart rate levels increase.
As you're about to see, The Feast retains a high content of naturally occurring live nutrients found in fresh produce - giving you whole food-based nutrition unlike any so-called "healthy' super juice or green food drink that I've ever seen.
How is that possible? Let me explain, starting with a little known story that began more than 25 years ago...
NOTE: I will continue this article in PART 3 in a few days.

Not Your Grandma's Tomato Part 1 - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food

I'd like to share an article written
by David Uri LeBaron,
pioneer and innovator of live, whole food-based nutrition.
"THIS IS NOT YOUR GRANDMOTHER'S TOMATO! - Part I"
"After more than 30 years of 'hands-on' organic farming
and continuous nutritional research, let me explain why...
this is NOT your grandmother's tomato!
You've heard 'An apple a day keeps the doctor away'...
but not today's apple. Today's apple is not your grandmother's apple.
Neither is a tomato, nor lettuce, or carrot - you name it.
And in many cases, even what's advertised as a 'natural' food
may not really be what you think it is. That's because you're being sold a bill of goods by the big food manufacturers when it comes to conventionally grown fruits, vegetables, and other so-called 'healthy' foods today.
The Truth: Beware of the 'Toxic Buffet'
Why have so many of our food sources been altered? Why are our foods no longer delivering the kind of nutrition they've provided us in the past? And what are the potential risks from these foods?
Here are the startling answers, starting with these facts:
Did you know that over 70 percent of processed foods in U.S. grocery stores contain genetically modified ingredients? And more than half of the corn grown in the U.S. is genetically engineered? This means foods are being altered by scientists in ways our forefathers never imagined. Just consider these shocking examples...
1. Many prematurely picked tomatoes are artificially ripened with hormones.
Take a tomato. The longer it stays on the vine, the higher its sugar level, better its taste, and higher its nutrient content. Just think about how good a home-grown tomato tastes. Yum! But out-of-season produce in the U.S. is often shipped up to 2,500 miles before being sold - so you can't pick a fully ripened tomato and expect to sell it cross country.
This is why many farmers in Florida, California, and Mexico pick tomatoes at 'mature green' state and artificially ripen them with ethylene. Ethylene is a hormone derived from petroleum and natural gas. The problem is, these tomatoes are deprived of optimum nutrient content.
2. Apples are treated with radioactive gamma rays to appear fresher.
Today, some conventionally grown apples are treated with radioactive gamma rays (yes, low levels of radiation) to extend shelf life and make them appear fresher than they really are. [Business News, 6/1/2005]
In fact, irradiation destroys up to 80 percent of an apple's essential vitamins A, B2, B3, B6, C, E, and K, as well as thiamin, folic acid, and even essential fatty acids and amino acids.
3. Crops are 'genetically-modified' (GM) to grow better.
To create more drought-and pest-resistant crops, engineers insert bacteria, viruses, plant or animal cells and even human genes into seeds...but at what risk? [truefoodnetwork.com]
For example, GM crops are designed to withstand herbicides...so farmers growing GM soybeans are using 2-5 times more herbicides than growers of natural varieties. GM crops easily pollinate with related weeds, creating 'super weeds' that are resistant to top-seling herbicides...forcing farmers to use more toxic herbicides.
Shockingly, U.S. food manufacturers are NOT required to put "genetically modified" on any food labels! This leave us in the dark. In fact, according to the International Food Information Council, 62 percent of Americans surveyed said they knew 'a little or nothing at all' about genetic engineering of foods.
But as you'll see in a moment, 'the Feast' gives you REAL whole food-based nutrition from organic and naturally grown fruits, berries, greens, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and sprouts, just as Nature intended - free of the dangers of biotech engineering and genetic modification.
Another reason why today's common fruits and vegetables are nowhere near the quality of your grandmother's is the shockingly poor vitamin and mineral content found in today's conventionally grown produce. Since the late 1950's, the nutritional content of America's conventionally grown fruits and vegetables has declined, often significantly.
Dr. Donald Davis, a biochemist at the University of Texas, noted that the USDA tracked 13 major nutrients in garden crops from 1950 to 1999 and found six with noticeable declines. Of these, a 38 percent drop in riboflavin...a 15 percent drop in iron...and a 20 percent drop in vitamin C stand out.
Nutritionist Alex Jack found even more shocking evidence when he compared USDA food tables from 1963 to those of 2000, as reported in Life Extension [March 2001]. He found the following: 50% less calcium in broccoli and carrots, 88% less iron in watercress, 45% less vitamin C in spinach, 51.5% less potassium in collard greens, and 66% less iron in apples, oranges, and apricots. SHOCKING!
WHY such poor nutritional content in our produce today?"

Weight Loss 4 Carb Addicts Pt 15 - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food

Weight Loss for Carb Addicts Pt 15
There's a lot of us out there,
CARBOHYDRATE ADDICTS, that is,
and losing weight is always a challenge for us.
Here's a secret I'd like to share with you that I used
when I lost my 23+ pounds and no longer fit into my pants.
CARB ADDICT WEIGHT LOSS SECRET:
When you sit down to eat a meal,
divide your plate into thirds.
One third, your favorite third, will of course,
be CARBS! I'm talking starchy carbohydrates like
pasta, brown rice, whole grain bread, potatoes, etc.
Enjoy that one third of your plate
because that's all the starchy carbs you'll get for the meal.
One third will be a protein food
such as a healthy organic natural meat,
organic raw cheese, peanut butter, etc.
One third of your plate will be fresh organic vegetables
such as green beans, corn, broccoli, peas, etc.
Remember, the best way to eat your vegetables is raw.
However, if you feel you need to cook them,
then the best way is to lightly steam them in spring water.
No canned vegetables are allowed (they're dead food).
In addition to the three thirds on your plate,
you also get to eat a fresh salad with each lunch and dinner made from fresh, organic, raw greens and vegetables
with a big squeeze of fresh lemon for your dressing
(avoid salad dressings that are loaded with carbs)
or you can make your own home made dressing
with apple cider vinegar, virgin olive oil, and spring water.
Eating your meal in this way will help balance out the carbs you're eating and keep your blood sugar from spiking. In other words, the veggies, salad, and protein will help to offset the effects of 1/3 of your plate being carbs. In this way you will learn to limit your starchy carbs to just one third of your meal, which in turn will help you to lose weight.
No more sitting down to a huge bowl of pasta or rice
or potatoes and pigging out on carbs. That will (or should I say
"has" made) make you fat.
Carbs are good for your body IN MODERATION!
Carbs are good for your body when properly balanced out
with equal amounts of greens, vegetables, protein, and salad.
Carbs are good for your body when you eat
small portions of the right kinds of healthy whole food carbs
such as brown rice, whole grain breads, organic potatoes, etc.
IF you will learn to apply this secret to your eating habits,
no matter if you're eating at home or at a restaurant,
THEN you will enjoy the benefits of being able to enjoy
at least a small portion of your favorite carbs each meal,
while at the same time losing weight because you're
eating them in the right proportions and amounts.
When I first learned this secret,
I started planning ahead and looking forward to
upcoming meals just to be able to enjoy my favorite carbs.
For example, I planned on 1/3 plate of pasta on Monday,
with the rest of my meal of course,
and 1/3 plate of my favorite Persian rice on Tuesday,
and 1/3 plate of my wife's homemade mashed potatoes on Wed.,
and 1/3 plate of fresh organic whole grain bread on Thurs.
In this way, I was not completely depriving myself of
all of my favorite and beloved carbs.
Instead, I was learning to space them out,
eat them in proportion to vegetables and proteins,
and keep everything in balance.
One final secret to remember:
Eat your whole meal in one hour or less.
Don't let your meal continue on past an hour
because if you do, a second round of insulin
will kick in to your system and spike your blood sugar.
Carb addicts have a way of eating way too many carbs
in one meal, at one sitting,
which tends to kick in too much insulin,
which in turn spikes their blood sugar,
all of which eventually will start to
set them up for some kind of diabetes condition.
My philosophy is this:
YOU CAN HAVE YOUR CARBS, AND EAT YOUR PROTEIN & VEGETABLES TOO! ALONG WITH A GOOD SIZE SALAD.
One final note.
You can have as much salad as you want.
Also, if you're really still hungry after
eating your complete meal and salad,
you can have more carbs at that point,
AS LONG AS you also eat equal size portions of more protein and more vegetables.
In this way, everything is kept in proper proportion
and nutritional balance that protects your health
and your waist line.
Now that you know these secrets,
GO AND PRACTICE THEM!
I learned these secrets from two carb addicts who were both
grossly overweight and learned how to overcome their addiction.
Their book is entitled,
"The Carbohydrate Addict's Lifespan Program,"
by Dr. Richard Heller and Dr. Rachael Heller.
I would recommend this book to all carb addicts
who want to learn how to lose weight
and take control of their health and weight
and overcome their carbohydrate addiction.

GTF Chromium & Weight Loss Pt 14 - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
GTF CHROMIUM Supplement
One of the things that I did when I was changing my diet and losing a lot of weight was to add GTF Chromium to my daily supplements.
Chromium is something that we all need in our diet, but unfortunately,
it is usually greatly lacking given the way people eat today
and given the poor soil that most of our produce is grown in.
CHROMIUM is an essential nutrient that provides
nutritional support for normal, healthy insulin action
and glucose utilization.
The Glucose Tolerance Factor (GTF) is a biological test
of this ability.
Chromium is an essential mineral that your body needs
but can't produce.
Chromium works with insulin to improve the transportation
of glucose out of the blood and into the cell.
This function improves health in many ways, including:
1. Decreasing blood sugar - Chromium may reduce the amount of sugar
circulating in your blood, thereby decreasing your risk of diabetes
and metabolic syndrome.
2. Decreasing LDL (bad cholesterol)
3. Increasing the good HDL cholesterol
4. Decreasing blood pressure
5. Decreasing the risk of heart disease and stroke
6. Decreasing body fat - Chromium may improve your body's insulin
sensitivity, helping to reduce body fat.
7. Increasing lean body mass
I would personally recommend taking 200 mcg per day.
I only recommend "GTF CHROMIUM" that is biologically active.
I DO NOT recommend Chromium Picolinate because it has not
stood the test of time and has not been proven to be as effective
as the GTF Chromium.
I would recommend that you first consult your physician or other
health or nutritional professional before adding this to your diet.

Key # 8 - Make Sure You've Got Plenty of Healthy FIBER in your Diet to help your body in the ELIMINATION Process
Daily Quote: "I believe that no single factor plays a more significant role in the origin of disease - or in its cure or prevention - than obtaining sufficient dietary FIBER." - Ted Broer
One of the most important keys to good nutrition and tips to eating healthy is getting enough dietary fiber in your foods every day. Your digestive system, especially the colon and large intestine, become constipated when too little water and dietary fiber are consumed. The U.S. Public Health Service has stated that approximately 90% of all Americans have a clogged colon to some degree. It is sad but true that Americans are one of the most constipated people in the whole world. We should be eating at least 25-30 grams of fiber a day, but shockingly, many Americans have a hard time consuming 30 grams of fiber a week!
According to licensed nutritionist and exercise physiologist, Ted Broer, "I am also convinced that no other single health condition plays so great a role in the development of disease as does constipation. Constipation has been shown to have a role in the development of hemorrhoids, heart disease, artherosclerosis, cancer (too many types to mention), diabetes, gall bladder disease, kidney stones and ulcers - just to name a few."
WHAT IS FIBER & WHAT DOES IT DO FOR YOUR BODY?
What is fiber? Simply put, fiber is the part of your food that cannot break down or be digested by your digestive system. Dietary fiber, or "roughage," is found abundantly in living plant foods such as vegetables, fruits, and grains. Fiber comes in two forms - soluble and insoluble fiber. Soluble fiber easily dissolves in water, so it can be easily absorbed in the intestine and circulated in the blood stream. Soluble fiber, such as pectin found in most fruits, in the blood can attach itself to blood fats and create a complex that removes these fats from the blood system, which in turn lowers cholesterol.
Insoluble fiber also absorbs water, but it remains in the intestine and forms the majority of the bulk necessary to collect and push bodily wastes through the intestine and out of the body. Food waste and bodily processes more very slowly, if at all, through the colon without the assistance of insoluble fiber. In this unhealthy case, the slow-moving mass can putrefy or rot right in the body causing the body to start poisoning itself. As you can see, insoluble fiber is critical to healthy functioning of the bowels and the whole elimination process.
THREE MAIN CAUSES OF CONSTIPATION
What's causing so much constipation (and all of its related illnesses) in America and the Western world? There are three main causes that need to be addressed and resolved. The first and foremost cause is our unhealthy low-fiber diet. This consists of denatured, bleached, refined, processed foods and flours, as well as a lack of fresh vegetables and fruit. When our wheat flour is refined, they take out over 50 healthy nutrients, and then add 12 synthetic vitamins that are totally indigestible. Then they put it on the supermarket shelves and advertise it as "enriched" wheat flour or bread. The food manufacturers basically throw away the good nutrition and leave Americans with an unhealthy malnutrition processed "food." No wonder almost everyone in America is constipated! And don't forget, most Americans don't even come close to eating the recommended 5-13 servings of vegetables and fruit per day.
The second cause of constipation is not drinking enough water every day. Water is an essential element to the whole digestion, assimilation, and elimination process. Without enough water, food that is digested slows down or comes to a stop. Think of water being like the oil in your car's engine. Without oil, the moving parts would wear each other down and the engine would quickly "freeze" up and break down completely. Likewise, without enough water, your body will become dehydrated and will start to "freeze" up and break down. It won't be able to process food properly or eliminate the waste properly.
The third cause of constipation is a lack of exercise. When your body does not get enough physical activity, food in your intestines and colon starts to slow down. For this reason alone, everyone should go for a 30-60 minute walk every day.
How do you know if you're "regular" enough? The basic guideline to use is this: everyone should have two or three bowel movements a day. This helps all waste matter move quickly through the large intestine and colon. This transit time should ideally be less than eighteen hours, and no more than twenty-four hours.
DO THESE 3 THINGS TO STAY "REGULAR"
1. Drink plenty of natural spring water every day. You should be drinking half your weight in ounces daily. In other words, if you're 160 pounds, you need to drink 80 ounces of water throughout the day.
2. Go for a daily walk to get the regular exercise your body needs.
3. Eat lots of dietary fiber every day and make significant changes to your create a healthy optimum diet. Your body needs at least 25-30 grams of fiber a day. It would also greatly help your system if you eliminated constipation-causing foods such as processed "enriched" wheat flour (white four) and other highly refined, denatured, bleached, processed flour.
GREAT SOURCES OF DIETARY FIBER FOR SUPER HEALTH
1. Fresh, organic vegetables, greens, fruits, and berries - These are all excellent sources of fiber. Aim at eating 75% of your vegetables and greens raw in the form of a healthy vegetable salad every day. Aim at eating 100% of your fruits & berries raw.
2. Beans and legumes. Learn how to soak and cook these yourself, and freeze portions for later use. These are probably the best source of fiber.
3. Brown rice. It has all the fiber and minerals that white rice lacks.
4. 100% whole wheat bread and flour, as well as 100% whole grain breads and flours such as rye, buckwheat, etc. Use these in all of your baking and cooking.
5. Whole grain cereals. These can be hot porridge-type cereals or cold cereal made from 100% whole grains.
6. Eat the skins of potatoes and of other organic fruits & vegetables.
7. Add oat bran, wheat bran, and wheatgerm to your meals.
8. Snack on sun-dried fruit - Enjoy apricots, dates, prunes, raisins, etc., which are all concentrated sources of fiber and nutrients.
9. Instead of drinking fruit juice and vegetable juice, eat the fruit and vegetables themselves so that you get all that healthy dietary fiber.
10. Eat flaxseed and chia seeds. These are a very healthy source of mucilaginous fiber that help relieve constipation and speed up the transit time for elimination.
Here's what Thomas Edison had to say about the future of health.
"The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease."
And always remember, the secret to losing weight and keeping it off, is to make nutritious and healthy LIFESTYLE CHANGES that become positive healthy habits in your daily routine. Systematic undereating and resisting the temptation to overeat is the first step to change.

Water & Weight Loss Pt 7 - Keys to Good Nutrition & Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
Let me begin by apologizing for not posting for about a week. I've been under a lot of stress moving my family into a new home, and with all the packing and setting up of our new home, I haven't had any time to write for my blog readers. Beginning next week I should be able to get back on track with this series on weight loss.
By way of review,
here are the other three keys that we've covered so far.
Key #1 - Stop overeating and practice systematic undereating.
Key #2 - Eat for nutrition, for energy, for life.
Listen, seek, research, learn, study, and understand that there are keys of knowledge that will help you unlock the secrets to a long, healthy life and successful weight loss and weight management. These keys to good nutrition and tips to healthy eating will open a whole new world of health, life, and vitality to you. I believe you were created by God and destined to a life of health and prosperity.
Key #3 - EAT ONLY HEALTHY ORGANIC NATURAL WHOLE FOODS
Key #4 - EXERCISE DAILY
Key #5 - ELIMINATE ALL ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, AND WHITE SUGAR
Key # 6 - ADD ORGANIC VIRGIN COCONUT OIL TO YOUR DIET
Key # 7 - DRINK NATURAL SPRING WATER (HALF YOUR BODY WEIGHT IN OUNCES) EVERY DAY, AND START YOUR DAY WITH A LARGE GLASS OF WATER WITH SOME LEMON AND SOME ORGANIC APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Starting your day with a large glass of natural spring water with some lemon squeezed in and some organic apple cider vinegar will help kick start your body's natural metabolism and cleansing. DO NOT DRINK TAP WATER! Tap water is loaded with all kinds of toxic chemicals that will harm your body. If you are overweight, you need to drink plenty of good natural spring water throughout the day to help your body flush out toxins and cleanse itself. Apple cider vinegar has been shown to be effective in helping people lose weight. I recommend putting one tablespoon of Bragg's Organic Apple Cider Vinegar into a glass of water with some lemon and if needed, a teaspoon of natural unheated raw honey.
And always remember, the secret to losing weight and keeping it off, is to make nutritious and healthy LIFESTYLE CHANGES that become positive healthy habits in your daily routine. Systematic undereating and resisting the temptation to overeat is the first step to change.

ARTICLE LINK: The Great Fat Debate - Why Virgin Coconut Oil Is Best
Summary of the most important points from the article:
1. Coconut oil is made up of medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA’s).
2. MCFA’s actually helps us to lose weight, lower cholesterol, improve diabetic conditions and reduce the risk of heart troubles.
3. One of the most outstanding benefits of consuming MCFA’s is that they do not require the liver to digest and emulsify them. This means instant energy and increased thermogenesis (increased metabolic rate in the body) which leads to more heat production as well as improved circulation.
4. For anyone with impaired fat digestion or a removed gallbladder, coconut oil is the only oil to consume as it is very easily digested.
5. MCFA’s are also known for having antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties, so they are beneficial to our immune system.
6. In addition, coconut oil assists people with under-active thyroids by increasing the metabolic rate of the body and creating more energy.
Ray Peat Ph.D., a physiologist who has worked with progesterone and related hormones since 1968, says that the sudden surge of polyunsaturated oils in the food chain post World War II has caused many changes in hormones. He writes:
"Their [polyunsaturated oils] best understood effect is their interference with the function of the thyroid gland. Polyunsaturated oils block thyroid hormone secretion, its movement in the circulatory system, and the response of tissues to the hormone. When the thyroid hormone is deficient, the body is generally exposed to increased levels of oestrogen. The thyroid hormone is essential for making the ‘protective hormones’ progesterone and pregnenolone, so these hormones are lowered when anything interferes with the function of the thyroid. The thyroid hormone is required for using and eliminating cholesterol, so cholesterol is likely to be raised by anything that blocks the thyroid function. It is very interesting to note that high cholesterol is not a sign of eating too much saturated fat. High cholesterol in a lot of the cases is due to an under-active thyroid which affects the liver as well as the many loops and feedback systems within the endocrine system. Stress and the over consumption of carbohydrates/sugars also form high levels of cholesterol."
And always remember, the secret to losing weight and keeping it off, is to make nutritious and healthy LIFESTYLE CHANGES that become positive healthy habits in your daily routine. Systematic undereating and resisting the temptation to overeat is the first step to change.

Healthy Weight Loss Pt 5 Sweeteners - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
Let's continue this series on healthy weight loss.
Today I'll be sharing practical things you can do to lose weight and to maintain a healthy weight for your height and body shape.
Here's the next key to add to your lifestyle.
Key #3 - EAT ONLY HEALTHY ORGANIC NATURAL WHOLE FOODS
To put it rather bluntly, all artificial sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup, and white sugar will make you fat. They will mess up your metabolism. They will trigger insulin overproduction.
Do NOT believe what you're being told by food manufacturers and their slick advertisements! They are simply lying to you about their artificial sweeteners in order to cause you to choose their products and to keep you fat.
AVOID ASPARTAME, NUTRASWEET, SPLENDA, SAACHARIN, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, and all other types and kinds of artificial sweeteners. If it's a "Man-Made Sweetener," then you want to avoid it. All of these artificial sweeteners are DANGEROUS to your health and are not good for your waistline. There is a TON of EVIDENCE out there that proves just how dangerous these poisons are to your body and how they have caused so much illness to millions of Americans.
I have written several posts all about the dangers of these artificial sweeteners and why you should avoid them at all costs. Please take some time to look back at my earlier posts and read what I have already written. I do not want to repeat myself in this posting, except to give you this very important WARNING: ELIMINATE ALL THESE WHITE ARTIFICIAL MAN-MADE SWEETENERS from your diet and AVOID ALL PRODUCTS MADE WITH THEM.
Let me give you a clear warning. These artificial sweeteners are just about in everything. You've got to start READING LABELS when you're out shopping for your groceries, and you've got to start avoiding all products that contain these dangerous, unhealthy, and fattening ingredients. Be particularly careful to avoid these artificial sweeteners in the following products:
Diet Soda, gum, candy, fruit juices, ice cream, cake, cookies, pastries, jam, etc.
And finally, don't be suckered in by terms like "diet," "fat-free," "sugar-free," "calorie-free," "carb-free," "no net carbs," etc. These are terms advertisers use to get you to buy their junky, unhealthy, fattening foods. For example, when something says that it is "sugar-free" or "diet," it usually means that it's loaded with artificial sweeteners like Aspartame that will poison your system, cause you all kinds of long-term health problems, and make you fat as well.
QUESTION: WHAT SWEETENERS ARE HEALTHY?
Good question.
STEVIA
ORGANIC AGAVE NECTAR
ORGANIC UNHEATED, UNFILTERED NATURAL HONEY
These are the three best natural "God-made" sweeteners
that are good for your health and that won't make you fat
if you use them in moderation.

Key #3 - EAT ONLY HEALTHY ORGANIC NATURAL WHOLE FOODS
Eat foods that are grown organically, not with chemical pesticides and herbicides. Eat live whole foods, not processed foods. Eat natural foods, not artificial foods and additives. Eat foods that are grown naturally, without hormones and antibiotics. Eat raw foods. Try to eat at least 75% of your foods raw in their natural whole food state. Eat a lot of vegetables and greens, organic of course. Also eat plenty of fruits and berries. Eat non-GM (genetically modified) foods; avoid all genetically modified and genetically engineered foods. Eat whole food grains, legumes, beans, seeds, and nuts. Eat only organically grown and grass fed natural chicken, turkey, lamb, bison, and beef. Eat only wild ocean fish with fins and scales, and avoid all farm raised fish and seafood scavengers. Eat only full spectrum Himalayan crystal salt, avoiding all table salt (sodium chloride). Eat traditionally fermented lactic acid foods like sauerkraut, sour pickles, miso, raw yogurt, raw kefir, apple cider vinegar, etc.
And always remember, the secret to losing weight and keeping it off, is to make nutritious and healthy LIFESTYLE CHANGES that become positive healthy habits in your daily routine. Systematic undereating and resisting the temptation to overeat is the first step to change.

Weight Loss Pt 2 - Keys to Good Nutrition & Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
HEALTHY SUCCESSFUL WEIGHT LOSS - PT 2
Today let's continue this series on healthy weight loss.
I will be sharing practical things you can do
to lose weight and to maintain a healthy weight.
"EAT TO LIVE - DON'T LIVE TO EAT."
One of the keys to good nutrition and tips to eating healthy is to eat for the right reasons. Have you ever thought of that? Have you ever asked yourself why you eat every day? It seems, on the surface, like a simple question with an obvious answer. However, when you understand the deeper ramifications of this question, you will realize that it is really quite a profound question.
Key #2 - EAT FOR NUTRITION, FOR ENERGY, FOR LIFE
Some people eat as though they were going to go out and do the hardest kind of physical labor! They sit down at the table, for example, and eat a large heavy breakfast loaded with protein, carbohydrates, fats, and sugars. And yet the truth is that they are very sedentary people who eat out of habit and conditioning. These same people often work in an office or in a store where they sit or stand around all day doing very little physical labor at all. They will usually eat a quite unhealthy snack in the morning. Around noon they will eat a heavy meal, followed a little later by an afternoon snack. After work, they come home and have the biggest meal of the day consisting of meat, potatoes, bread, dessert, and a beverage. Typically they watch TV after dinner while eating yet another fattening snack.
The person living the average, inactive and sedentary life can't possibly burn up these large amounts of food! What happens to people who eat this way? They end up being overweight or obese, they feel tired or exhausted most of the time, and they live their entire lives being sick. They fill the doctors' offices, pharmacies, and hospitals with all the health problems brought on by their unhealthy eating habits.
This kind of daily compulsive over-eating is making millions of people exhausted, fat, and sick. This habitual over-eating is sending them to doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and too many to an early grave! As the Roman philosopher, Seneca, once said,
"Men do not die; they kill themselves."
This tragic story is being played out all across the Western world. Millions of people are grossly overweight and sick due to unhealthy lifestyles and poor eating habits.
Not only do millions of people overeat or overfuel their bodies, but they also overfuel on the wrong kinds of food. The food that they consume is generally not nutritious and is loaded with toxins and other substances that make their bodies fatter and sicker and more tired. Because their bodies are truly malnourished from bad nutrition, they constantly feel hungry because their bodies are not getting the nutrients that they need. In addition, overeating puts a severe strain on the body's organs and the digestive tract to try to keep up with all of that food. By overeating they are stressing out the machinery of their entire body because they never give their body time to rest and repair itself. What they really need to do is to get into the habit of fasting one day a week to help their system unclog and cleanse itself.
Why Do You EAT?
Many people eat three large meals a day because they were told at a young age that they should. They have been conditioned to eating not only three large daily meals, but also to eating snacks throughout the day. I believe that most people eat this way out of habit and conditioning, and for the wrong reasons. A lot of times people eat because it meets some deep emotional need in their souls such as comfort, which is why we call some foods, "comfort foods." Some people overeat because they are lonely and eating food makes them feel better. Some people overeat simply because they are bored. Other people overeat because they are simply gluttens, meaning they have an unhealthy kind of "lust" for food that gives them a lot of pleasure and a physical high. All of these reasons are not good or healthy reasons to eat or to overeat.
EAT FOR NUTRITION AND ENERGY AND LIFE
I would like to suggest that the best reasons to eat (not overeat) are to feed your body the good nutrition it needs, to provide your body the energy it needs to work and live, and to give your body the life that it needs to be happy and productive. In other words, "eat to live!" Think of food as fuel for your body. You can put in good high-quality fuel that will energize your body and help you accomplish what you need to every day, or you can put in bad poor-quality fuel that will cause your body to feel tired, weak, and sickly and will prevent you from accomplishing what you need to do.
Finally, there is a time and a place to enjoy the pleasure of eating good food. God created us to enjoy great variety of foods that He put on the earth. Enjoying good healthy food is a blessing from God that we should be thankful for. However, we do need to protect our hearts from gluttony and overeating by practicing moderation in our eating habits. My advice to you is to reflect a while on why you eat, and then make some healthy changes. Start thinking differently about food and eating. Discipline your body and make it your servant, rather than your body being the master and you being the slave to its appetite. Take control of your appetite and eating habits, and learn the healthy habit of eating to live.
And always remember, the secret to losing weight and keeping it off, is to make nutritious and healthy LIFESTYLE CHANGES that become positive healthy habits in your daily routine. Systematic undereating and resisting the temptation to overeat is the first step to change.

Real Nutrition News - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
AMAZING and POWERFUL
URI FEAST "MAGALOG"
Here is a note from Brett Rademacher about the just released "MAGALOG" and how powerful a marketing tool this will be.
To get a sneak preview of the Real Nutrition News Magalog,
Click Here: REAL NUTRITION NEWS - MAGALOG
"This is the culmination of a year of very hard work by a lot of people. It is the foundation of all our future marketing efforts. It is a demonstration on Uri Lebaron’s commitment to creating powerful marketing tools that... do NOT make unsubstantiated health claims like so many other nutritional companies do, therefore jeopardizing the long term success of their company and opportunity.
I would like to present to you:
In my opinion, I believe this is one of the most phenomenal marketing pieces that has ever been created for a network marketing nutritional product. This is a MUCH smaller version of the actual size of what the printed version of Real Nutrition News will be, but it will give you a basic idea of what it will look like. However, it is NOTHING compared to holding the ACTUAL size printed version in your hands. The actual printed Magalog is a HUGE (10 x 12) full 4 color, 24 page attention grabbing direct marketing masterpiece. This online flash based page viewer of the Magalog does NO justice to the actual printed Magalog piece.
The copy was written by one of the top nutritional copywriters in the country. The design was done by one of the top direct response graphic copywriters in the country.
You will notice on page 23 there is a special offer for first time customers.
Special Magalog Offer Includes:
* 1 300G can of The Feast
* 1 RED Shaker Cup FREE
* 2 Beyond Berries Samples FREE
* 2 The Feast Supercharged Samples FREE
Only $43.95, which is the normal price of just the FEAST canister alone. New customers will save $12. And remember, this offer is for "1st time Customer purchases ONLY."
Prospective retail customers have 3 options for
ordering this special offer.
1) Contact the distributor who gave them the Magalog
and they can take their order and forward it to the
company.
2) Call the company 800 order number and give the
customer service rep the special offer code.
Is that awesome or what?
3) And the third option is they can go online and
order at special offer order site (to be set up shortly)

George Carlin - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
Isn't it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's - could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate.
A Message by George Carlin:
"The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways , but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stock room. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...
Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.
Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

Visit Trader Joe's - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Foods

CHECK OUT * TRADER JOE'S *
I'd like to recommend one of my favorite healthy grocery stores.
It's called T R A D E R J O E ' S and I just love this place!
At first glance, it may not look like a health food store because about 20% of the store is stocked with various kinds of wines and alcoholic beverages. Because of the dangers of sulfites and other chemicals which end up in wine, I wouldn't necessarily call wine a health food or healthy drink. Therefore, I want you to know that I'm really writing to share about the 80% of the rest of the store which is food products.
One more thing I need to clarify is that all of Trader Joe's food is NOT healthy. To put it another way, there are quite a few items in the store that I would classify as NOT healthy. However, in spite of the wine, alcoholic beverages, and some unhealthy foods, for the most part this is a great store to find very healthy food at a very reasonable price.
I encourage you to check out Trader Joe's and try some of their healthy foods. You will find them very reasonably priced; in fact, I believe they are considerably cheaper than most health food stores such as Whole Foods Market and Henry's.
While you're there, pick up one of their "Trader Joe's Fearless Flyers." In this newspaper format flyer, you can learn all about their latest products. Here are some examples of healthy foods that T.J.'s carries and that are writte up in this Fearless Flyer.
Hearty Wholesome Organic Instant Oatmeal, Organic Salad Kit, Multigrain Pastas with Flax, Complete Body Cleanse Internal Cleansing System, All Natural Ground Chicken, Quinoa Wheat Bread, Spinach and Feta Stuffed Norwegian Salmon, 17 Bean & Barley Soup Mix, California Estate Grown Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Organic Agave Sweetener, Pure Psyllium, Olive Tapenade with Kalamata and Black Olives, Go Raw Trek Mix, Organic Marinara, etc.
Where's the nearest Trader Joe's?
Check out Trader Joe's website for locations, maps, and door-to-door driving directions.
TRADER JOE'S WEBSITE
Go and visit this store soon. You'll be glad you did and you'll be thanking me for years!

Artificial Sweeteners & Weight Gain - Keys to Good Nutrition & to Eating Healthy Feast On Organic Whole Food

Dear health conscious friends,
I'm on vacation right now, so I don't have a lot of time to write my typical lengthy blog posting.
However, I did find this very interesting article on Dr. Mercola's website all about the toxic dangers and other side effects of artificial sweeteners. Please be sure to read Dr. Mercola's comments at the end of the article.
This article comes from: http://www.mercola.com
Article Title: Artificial Sweeteners Once Again Linked to Weight Gain,

Shocking Beef Recall - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food

Click on the link below and
read what's happening with
our school children, beef products, and the USDA.
It is truly shocking what has happened...
This link will connect you to an article
at the website for Natural News by Mike Adams.
USDA Recalls 143 Million Pounds of Beef Products Already Consumed by Schoolchildren; Slaughterhouse Atrocities Shock World
My commentary:
With all that's going on in the beef industry, poultry industry, and with other meat products, consumers must be on their guard, get educated about what's really happening to our meat and food supply, and start making better choices.
I personally recommend that you buy only organic grass-fed free-range beef that comes from animals that have NOT been fed GMO grain, have NOT been fed or injected with hormones, have NOT been given antibiotics, and that have been treated humanely.
How do you find this kind of meat? You have to take responsibility for your own health and your family's health, and you have to go out and do some research wherever you live until you find meat products that are actually safe and good for your health. Stop buying your meats at the grocery store. Stop buying the cheapest meats that you can find. Be willing to spend more money on meat that is safe and good for you, and stop wasting your money on processed beef that is unsafe, unhealthy, and actually dangerous to your health. Go to your local health food store and start asking questions about where you can find the healthiest meat. Look on the internet. Talk to people who know about and value organic food. And finally, beware of all of these health destroying processed meat products that are served in all of the fast food restaurants, in almost all restaurants, and that are being served to your kids at school.
Finally, if you live in the country like I do, you might even consider raising a few cows or bulls of your own for meat. I'm planning on doing this quite soon because I will know exactly what grass and hay that I've fed my animals. If this is too much for you to do, find a neighbor or someone locally who does this and get your meat from them.

An Apple A Day - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
EAT AN ORGANIC APPLE EVERY DAY
I'm sure you've all heard this popular saying,
"AN APPLE A DAY KEEPS THE DOCTOR AWAY"
Is there any truth to this popular proverb?
Let me tell you; I'm living proof that this proverb is true. For many years I've started my day with some kind of fruit, usually an apple, because I've known that it helps to cleanse my colon and to aid my body in the morning elimination process.
As you may not know, there is only one time during the day to eat fruit, and that is always on an empty stomach. The best time is in the morning after you've gotten up, had a large glass of water to drink, and have started your day. It is during the morning hours that your body is designed to eliminate the food that it has digested from the evening before. You don't really want to eat a large heavy breakfast during the morning elimination cycle. Instead, you should focus on eating a delicious organic apple and possibly one other fruit. You can eat fruit at other times during the day as a snack, but always make sure that it's on an empty stomach. The worst thing you can do is to eat fruit after a meal or with a meal because it will surely ferment in your intestines and cause you lots of problems.
Apples are great at cleaning out your system and aiding your body in the elimination process. It's only a short while after eating my morning apple that my body experiences a significant bowel movement as part of eliminating the previous evening's meal.
The best fruits to eat that will aid your body in the elimination cycle are:
organic apples, avocados, organic grapes, watermelon, cantaloupe, organic prunes, fresh organic or dried unsulfered apricots, dates, dried figs, organic cherries, organic pears, grapefruit, oranges, raspberries, boysenberries, organic strawberries, guava, mangoes, and papayas.
These are the best morning fruits to eat because they each have a good amount of FIBER in them which will aid in the elimination process.

Top 12 Organic Foods - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
I found this article on the top 12 foods to eat organic on the Daily Green website.
www.thedailygreen.com
"Not all of us can afford to go 100% organic. The solution? Focus on just those foods that are laden with the highest amounts of pesticides, chemicals, additives and hormones and deploy your organic spending power on buying organic versions of these whenever possible. Can't find organic versions of these foods? We've listed safer alternatives that contain the same valuable vitamins and minerals.
1. Beef - According to the Environmental Protection Agency, "meat contains higher levels of pesticides than any of the plant foods." Similar to milk and milk-based dairy products, many chemical pesticides end up in the animal, which end up in you.
2. Milk - The fat in dairy products is another haven for pesticides and chemicals. They also concentrate in the fatty tissues of animals, which gets passed on to you through their milk. Antibiotics and bovine growth hormones are another concern and found in commercial milk, cheese and butter. Organic dairies do not use antibiotics or growth hormones like rGBH or rbST.
3. Coffee - Many of the beans you buy are grown in countries that don't regulate use of chemicals and pesticides. Look for the Fair Trade Certified label on the coffee package or can; it will give you some assurance that chemicals and pesticides were not used on the plants. It will also mean that fair prices were paid for the end product in support of the farm and that farm workers are treated fairly.
4. Peaches - Forty-five different pesticides are regularly applied to these delicately skinned fruits in conventional orchards. Can't find organic? Safe alternatives: Watermelon, tangerines, oranges and grapefruit.
5. Apples - Scrubbing and peeling doesn't eliminate chemical residue completely so it's best to buy organic when it comes to apples. Peeling a fruit or vegetable also strips away many of their beneficial nutrients. Organic apples taste sweeter than conventionally grown, too. Can't find organic? Safe alternatives: Watermelon, bananas and tangerines.
6. Sweet Bell Peppers - Peppers have thin skins that don't offer much of a barrier to pesticides. They're one of te most heavily sprayed vegetables out there and victim to thirty-nine pesticides commonly use to keep them insect-free. Can't find organic? Safe alternatives: Green peas, broccoli and cabbage.
7. Celery - Celery has no protective skin, which makes it almost impossible to wash off the twenty-nine different chemicals that are used on conventional crops. Can't find organic? Safe alternatives: Broccoli, radishes and onions.
8. Strawberries - On average, strawberries receive a dose of up to 500 pounds of pesticides per acre. If you buy strawberries out of season, they're most likely imported from countries that use less-stringent regulations for pesticide use. Can't find organic? Safe alternatives: Blueberries, kiwi and pineapples.
9. Lettuces - Leafy greens are frequently contaminated with want are considered the most potent pesticides used on food. Can't find organic? Safe alternatives: Cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts.
10. Grapes - Imported grapes run a much greater risk of contamination than those grown domestically. Vineyards can be sprayed with thirty-five different pesticides during different growth periods of the grape and no amount of washing or peeling will eliminate contamination because of the grape's permeable thin skin. Can't find organic? Safe alternatives: Blueberries, kiwi and raspberries.
11. Potatoes - America's popular spud ranks hight for pesticide residue. It also gets the double whammy of fungicides added to the soil for growing. Can't find organic? Safe alternatives: Eggplant, cabbage and earthy mushrooms.
12. Tomatoes - The standard regimen of pesticides used on conventionally raised tomatoes are thirty. Their easily punctured skins are no match for chemicals that will eventually permeate the whole tomato. Can't find organic? Safe alternatives: Green peas, broccoli and asparagus.
If the cost of buying all organics isn't within your budget, fear not. Check out The Daily Green's top ten list of fruit and vegetables you don't need to buy organic, with tips for buying and how to clean, store and use them in delicious recipes."

Hippocrates' Advice - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast on Organic Whole Food
"Your Food Will Be Your Remedy," said Hippocrates, the great physician-teacher and father of medicine. In this profound maxim, Hippocrates described the secret to living a healthy lifestyle; namely, eating a live healthy organic whole food diet.
Natural, organic, whole food such as fresh fruits, berries, greens, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and sprouts have remarkable nutritive compounds that give life to the human body and help cleanse, purify, and rebuild the body when it is weakened and struggling to overcome ailments. These live whole foods are loaded with thousands of naturally occurring nutritional compounds, vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, antioxidants, live enzymes, and amino acids in their natural synergistic state that can only be obtained from these live foods. These bioavailable nutrients cannot be isolated and placed into a synthetic vitamin or mineral supplement. Learn to enjoy the Feast of local, fresh, all natural, live organic whole foods every day.
"True wisdom consists in not departing from nature, but molding our conduct according to her wise laws." - Seneca
Now, think with me for a moment about your daily diet.
Is the food you're eating being a "remedy" or a "curse" to your body?
If you were to take Hippocrates' wisdom and apply it to your lifestyle,
what would your eating habits look like?
What kind of nutrition would you be putting into your body?
Which denatured processed toxic foods would you stop buying and stop eating?
What fresh fruits & vegetables would you start eating several times a day?
I created this blog to be personal and practical, not theoretical. My hope is that the information you learn from this blog will lead you to make some very significant changes to your eating habits.
Start applying this ancient wisdom to your diet today by making good nutritional choices one day at a time. Decide right now that your food will be your remedy and that you will start eating healthy.

"L-O-C-A-V-O-R-E?"
Today I'd like to share an article with you that I found on Mike Adam's website, NaturalNews, focused on an interesting new word, "LOCAVORE."
(NaturalNews) Ever hear the word “locavore?” This was the New Oxford American Dictionary word of the year for 2007. A locavore is a person who chooses to eat food that has been grown and produced locally...
Please click on the link below to read the whole article.

Doctrine of Signatures - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy with Organic Whole Food Feast
What Part of the Human Body
Does a Pair of Hanging Figs Look Like?
Today I'd like to share a very interesting article with you by Robin Plan that I found on her website. She actually found this great information on another site: Just A List
"I came across an amazing post on Just A List that I have to pass along.
The doctrine of signatures is an ancient European philosophy that held that plants bearing parts that resembled human body parts, animals, or other objects, had useful relevancy to those parts, animals or objects.
Susan put a lot of time into the her post so look at the samples here and then jump over to
Just A List to view the rest. It's fun and educational.
Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.
Eggplant, Avocadoes and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? .... It takes exactly 9 months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).
Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm and increase the numbers of sperm as well to overcome male sterility.
Thanks Susan." - by Robin Plan

8 Tips to Eating Healthy & Keys to Good Nutrition - Uri Feast Yuri
Knowing WHAT good nutrition to eat is critical to eating healthy. However, it's also important to learn HOW to eat properly because the way you eat affects your health. I would like to give you eight keys on proper eating habits. Print these out, put them on your fridge, and make them part of your daily eating habits at home, at work, and when you're out.
Key #1 - Eat only when you are truly hungry. If you aren't hungry at mealtime, skip the meal. Too often people end up eating when they aren't even hungry purely out of habit instead of need, which becomes a very unhealthy habit. It's time to break this habit starting today.
Key #2 - Eat slowly and chew your food well. The enzymes in your saliva begin the digestion process, so chew your food thoroughly and never eat in a hurry. Far too many people suffer from poor digestion because they don't practice this common sense principle.
"Chew your solid foods until they are liquid; no stomach has teeth." - Paul C. Bragg
Key #3 - Relax when you eat and make it a truly enjoyable culinary experience. This is something we can learn from some of the more laid back southern Europeans (think Italians, Greeks, Spaniards) who truly take the time to relax and enjoy social time around their meals. Also, never eat when you are upset because your emotional turmoil will lead to digestive turmoil as well. It's simply better to avoid food when you're emotionally upset.
Key #4 - Practice conscious under-eating. The less you eat, the better you will feel because your digestive system will not be overloaded. This is the most important #1 health and longevity principle that you can live by. Remember, over-eating is one of the main causes of premature aging and degenerative illnesses, so learn to eat less and take smaller portions. In fact, exert the discipline it takes to not go back for seconds when the urge arises.
Key #5 - Eat fruit by itself. Don't mix fruit with your meal; it is best eaten alone for digestion purposes. Many older people say that they can't eat fruit because it gives them gas. However, the real problem is not the fruit, but rather that they are eating fruit along with other foods which causes it to putrefy in their systems. The secret to eating fruit is simply to eat it by itself on an empty stomach.
Key #6 - Eat your whole meal within a one-hour period. Do not go past 60 minutes because your body will kick in another boost of insulin. This one key will help you improve your health and it is a key factor in controling your insulin and your weight gain.
Key #7 - Learn not to drink fluids while eating your meal. Liquids will only dilute the digestive enzymes and slow down the whole digestion process. There is a time to drink lots of liquids, and that time is between meals, not during meals. Drinking during meals is a very silly practice that most of us are guilty of, and yet we do it out of habit. What's the first thing the waitress says when you sit down? "What can I get you to drink?" Remember, you're there to eat, not to drink. By the way, it also adds considerably to the final bill and the tip.
Key #8 - Give thanks to God for the food He provides you. Be grateful for the abundance of His provision. Thank Him for giving you food to eat, for your health, and for life itself.
Bonus Suggestions - Eat several smaller meals in preference to two larger meals. Also, try not to mix too many foods at any one meal. Keeping it simple will enhance your digestion and assimilation. And finally, don't mix raw vegetables and raw fruits at the same meal because the digestive enzymes are incompatible, and this will result in gas and poor digestion.

Juice Fasting Regularly - Keys to Eating Healthy and to Good Nutrition Feast Uri Yuri

8 Day Juice Fast Extremely Successful & Rewarding!
I have just completed an 8-day juice fast and I feel absolutely fantastic! I'd like to share with you how my fast went and what was accomplished.
My main reasons for doing this fast were to clean out my colon, detoxify my body, give my body a chance to rest and rebuild itself, rejuvenation, a marriage breakthrough, and a spiritual breakthrough. I know, that's a lot of purposes to have when going on a juice fast, but these were the needs in my life that needed a breakthrough.
"The single most powerful tool I have seen for optimum health and rejuvenation is the JUICE FAST!" - Dr. Otto Burchinger, M.D.
We all need to come to the realization and experience that regular, periodic juice fasting is one of the essential keys to good nutrition and to eating healthy.
I'd like to share the details of my current juice fast with you to show you what's it's like and what you need to remember to do in order to be successful in your juice fasting.
My last meal was a healthy dinner on Saturday, January 26th.
Day 1 - Sunday, Jan. 27 - 175 pounds. Drank juices & water. Morning & evening enemas.
Day 2 - Monday, Jan. 28 - 173 pounds. Drank juices & water, with morning & evening enemas.
Day 3 - Tues, Jan 29 - 170 pounds. Drank juices & water, with morning & evening enemas.
Day 4 - Wed, Jan 30 - 168 pounds. Drank juices & water. Morning & evening enemas.
Day 5 - Thurs, Jan 31 - 168 pounds. Same as above...
Day 6 - Frid, Feb 1 - 167 pounds. Same as above...
Day 7 - Sat. Feb 2 - 165 pounds. Drank juices & water. Only morning enema.
Day 8 - Sun. Feb 3 - 163 pounds. Drank juices & water. Only morning enema.
Broke the fast Sunday evening at 5:30 pm with a raw apple and some cinnamon.
I was able to work a full 50 hour work week without any problem. I had plenty of energy and my mind was very clear. On the 7th day, I actually helped my sister-in-law move all day, which included a lot of heavy lifting. Surprisingly, I had plenty of energy to do it without any problem.
With all the enemas I did, my body was able to detoxify and cleanse itself of a lot of putrid crud that had been built up in my colon over the last several years. At times it was scary to see how much awful stuff I had stuck up in me that only came out as a direct result of the juice fast, the colon cleansing herbs and ingredients that I took, and the two daily enemas.
On day 5, I had the most disgusting crud come out of me, and it reminded me exactly of some photos I had seen on some colon cleansing websites of long putrid crud that other people have been able to purge their bodies of through juice fasting and colon cleansing. So...I, too, took a picture of it to remind myself of the power of a juice fast to cleanse the colon. If you're squeamish, don't look at the photo. For those of you who get grossed out easily, I'll post the photo at the bottom of the email so that you don't have to see it.
By day 8, my morning enema revealed no more solid poop in me, so I felt like it was time to end the fast. I'm still amazed at how much horrid stuff came out of me through 8 days of juice fasting and taking enemas twice a day. It's rather shocking and disgusting!
By the time I broke the fast tonight at the end of the 8th day, I had lost 12 pounds! I look a whole lot thinner and my friends and family have commented on it. More importantly, I feel a whole lot cleaner and healthier, my body feels like it experienced quite a bit of detoxification, I feel rejuvenated and energetic, I experienced a breakthrough in my marriage, and I feel like I've had a real spiritual breakthrough.
Was it worth it? Oh YES!
Was it hard? Not really. It was actually a lot easier than I expected, and it was a whole lot easier than doing a water only fast. After about the 6th day, I did start missing food when I was around it, and everything in my wife's kitchen looked and smelled great.
Will I do it again? YES, of course! I'll continue fasting one day a week for general upkeep of my colon, but I'll also plan on doing an extended juice fast at least two or three times a year.
I strongly recommend that you get yourself a good enema kit, some of Uri International's live whole food based InstaFresh juice powder mixes, and plan your first juice fast some time in the next three weeks.
Remember these important parts of JUICE FASTING:
1. Drink only fresh homemade juices, spring water, homemade vegetable broth, and any combination of the live whole food based InstaFresh super juice powdered drink mixes by Uri such as The Feast, Beyond Berries, Barley Pure, Sweet Careet, etc.
I drank a smoothie every morning made from the following ingredients: 2 scoops of The Feast & 1 scoop of Barley Pure by Uri, half a raw lemon, cayenne pepper, 2 teaspoons of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, Himalayan salt water, 2 tablespoons freshly ground flaxseed, 1 scoop of Multi Clean Colon Support by Uri, 1 scoop of psyllium husk seeds, 1 tablespoon of raw honey. In the afternoon and in the evening, I've been drinking a serving of the live whole food based InstaFresh super juice powdered drink, the Feast and Beyond Berries, by Uri.
2. Add some kind of colon cleaning support to your drinks once a day. In my case, I used "Multi Clean Colon Support" by Uri International. I also added two droppers of Fresh Green Black Walnut Wormwood Complex to my morning and evening smoothies.
3. Do a morning and evening enema with lukewarm water. You can find directions on how to do this on my blog. This is a critical step to make sure you do because it helps to get the old feces and toxic material out of your colon while you're on your fast. You'll need a simple $15 enema kit to do this yourself.
4. Do a morning and evening dry brush massage. This is simply a rough brush that you brush all over your body to rub off dead skin and to help remove the toxins that are being expelled through your skin. A dry brush massage is quite an invigorating experience and very healthy for you.
5. Do some kind of moderate daily exercise such as walking for 30-60 minutes. I strongly encourage you to go for a long walk in the morning and again in the late afternoon or early evening.
6. Stay away from the kitchen unless you're preparing your smoothie or juice or vegetable broth. You don't want to hang around food or people eating food which may prove to be a temptation.
7. Get plenty of rest every night and try to go to bed early.
8. Keep doing your normal work routine, and you'll be surprised that you'll have a lot of energy as your fast progresses.

Most people have no idea of how Big Government, Big Business, Big Pharma (Drug companies), and Big Media really operate behind the scenes, or how they actually work together to make Big Money.
Below is a link to a very revealing video that reveals the collusion between all four of these entities.
You may even be shocked at what you learn.
The key lesson is to understand that YOU MUST take self-responsibility for your life in all areas. This is one of the most important keys to good nutrition and tips to eating healthy.
This stuff can only be stopped by exposing it for what it is, and people becoming ecucated and taking action, just like this piece is doing.

It's Time for Juice Fasting - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast Uri Yuri
"The single most powerful tool I have seen for optimum health and rejuvenation is the JUICE FAST!" - Dr. Otto Burchinger, M.D.
After completing my 12-Part series on Juice Fasting a few weeks ago, I was very motivated and ready to go on an extended juice fast myself. Normally I fast once a week on Mondays to give my system a rest. However, several times a year I like to go on an extended juice fast. Periodic juice fasting is one of the essential keys to good nutrition and to eating healthy.
Here are the things that I have been doing every day that you'll want to do when you juice fast:
1. Drink only fresh homemade juices, water, homemade vegetable broth, and any combination of the live whole food based InstaFresh super juice powdered drink mixes by Uri such as The Feast, Beyond Berries, Barley Pure, Sweet Careet, etc.
I have actually been drinking a smoothie every morning made from the following ingredients: 2 scoops of The Feast & 1 scoop of Barley Pure by Uri, half a raw lemon, cayenne pepper, 2 teaspoons of Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar, Himalayan salt water, 2 tablespoons freshly ground flaxseed, 1 scoop of Multi Clean Colon Support by Uri, 1 scoop of psyllium husk seeds, 1 tablespoon of raw honey. In the afternoon and in the evening, I've been drinking a serving of the live whole food based InstaFresh super juice powdered drink, the Feast, by Uri.
2. Add some kind of colon cleaning support to your drinks once a day. In my case, I used "Multi Clean Colon Support" by Uri International.
SO FAR...this has been a very easy fast for me to do. I haven't had any problems so far. I've felt plenty of energy and take walks whenever I can. I have had good sleep as well. My body feels like it is getting thinner, healthier, and more energetic. I'm working full 8-10 hour days with no problems whatsoever. My thinking is clearer than ever, and my spirit is spiritually in tune with God and hearing His voice. I'm not sure how long I will continue this juice fast, but for now, I feel like I could go on indefinitely...

You Are What You Eat - Keys to Good Nutrition & Tips to Eating Healthy Feast Uri Yuri
"You are what you eat, drink, breathe, think, say, and do." - Patricia Bragg
It IS possible to be healthy and to create a healthy lifestyle IF you truly want it bad enough. In the end, you, and you alone, determine your health - not your doctor, not your parents, not your spouse, not your genes, and not even God. In fact, God has put the responsibility for your health into your own hands, with the recommendation that you choose LIFE and not death. Every day of your life you will have to make decisions about what you will eat and drink, what you will say and do, and what you will think about. In each of these decisions, you will be choosing life or death, health or ill-health. It's all up to you, and you cannot blame anyone else for your choices.
This blog focuses on good nutrition and eating healthy as the cornerstone to living a healthy lifestyle. There are other important keys to health: regular exercise and deep breathing, drinking plenty of natural spring water daily, giving your body the rest it needs to rejuvenate itself, detoxifying your body and its environment, giving and receiving love and being forgiving, accepting, and thankful; and developing your spiritual life through a friendship with God. I will touch on these important keys to health occasionally, but the main focus of this blog will be on eating right and giving your body the good nutrition it needs to function the way that God intended it to.
We need to be wise regarding what we put into our bodies. The expression, "You are what you eat," is profoundly true and sobering. What we put into our bodies (food & drink) will determine what kind of life we will live. It's a simple "cause-effect" relationship. The cause is what we eat and drink, and the effect is the health or ill-health of our bodies. There is a spiritual principle involved here that comes from the Bible that says, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap."
Think for a minute how this applies to what people "sow" into their bodies every day. Whenever a person eats right and puts good nutrition into his body, he will reap health and life. On the other hand, when a person eats badly and puts refined, denatured, toxic, processed food into his body, he will reap malnutrition, ill-health, and premature death. Unfortunately, most people are deceived about this basic principle, and they continue to eat the wrong foods, all the while mystified about the various ailments they are continually suffering from. I am writing this blog to help people get free from this deception, and to guide them to living a healthy lifestyle through changing the way that they eat.
Take a look at the photograph of the nursing baby. The mother is feeding (sowing into) her baby the best possible "food" from which her baby will reap health and life. Now imagine a mother feeding her baby man-made refined and processed "formula," and imagine the malnutrition and ill-health that baby will experience as a result. God, or what some people like to call "mother nature," knows what is best for our bodies, which is why we should all eat organic whole foods rather than all the processed junk they sell in the supermarkets.

Colon Cleansing & Health - Keys to Good Nutrition & to Eating Healthy Uri Feast Yuri
"We are one of the sickest nations in the world. Despite all the vast sums of money that are spent on health care each year, we are still one of the sickest countries in the world. In 1900 we were the healthiest country of all the nations. We were in first place. At last count in 1998 we had dropped down to the 79th healthiest country. The main reason for this tremendous decline in the country's health is because of two main factors: number one the increased use of junk food and sugar, and number two, the increased number of clogged constipated colons. These two factors alone have destroyed the health of this once great nation. The quality of food and the health of the colon can either make or break a country. In our case it has just about broken it." - Dr. Irons
I recently received an email from Dr. Ted Broer that I would like to share parts of with you. It is all focused on the colon and its relationship to health. Here are personally selected portions of an interview between Dr. Broer's "Healthview" and Dr. V.E. Irons.
HEALTHVIEW: Mr. Irons, we have talked with you at length before on the colon and its relation to ill health. Is a toxic colon really as big a factor in premature aging as you say it is?
IRONS: Absolutely. As far as I am concerned, a diseased, toxic colon is one of the greatest causes of premature aging that ever existed. Old age begins right in the colon. The more diseased and toxic a person's colon is, the more quickly he will age. A toxic colon can rob a person of his youth, deplete his energy supply, and advance him rapidly on the road to old age. In my opinion, there is only one MAIN disease in this country, and that is a toxic colon. It is directly responsible for more health problems than any other single cause. What makes me so upset today is that most people never even consider the colon as the source of their health problems. Whether a person has a cold, a headache, a fever, or whether he is suffering from a serious health problem such as arthritis, diabetes or even cancer-it just doesn't matter-THE COLON IS NEVER CONSIDERED, it is never mentioned, IT IS AS IF THE COLON DIDN'T EVEN EXIST! Yet, ironically, there is not one health condition in the world that is not adversely affected by a toxic colon. Every single health problem that ever existed, can either directly or indirectly be caused by a diseased and toxic colon.
About the only place you see a normal healthy colon today is in an anatomy book.
HEALTHVIEW: How many people would you say have an unhealthy colon?
IRONS: Virtually everyone! Just a few years ago the U.S. Public Health Service said that 90% of the people had a clogged colon. I would disagree with that statement. I feel that 99% of the people have a clogged colon. Almost everyone today has a clogged, constipated colon. Most people's colons, instead of being fast moving sewer systems, have become stagnant cesspools. You can have two or three movements a day, and still have a terribly clogged colon.
DR. IRONS: FOUR SYMPTOMS OF OLD AGE THAT ARE CAUSED BY A TOXIC COLON
Exhaustion: Fatigue and exhaustion are the main symptoms of a toxic colon. Toxins from the colon will travel to the energy glands of the body (the thyroid and the adrenal glands) and slow them down immensely. As soon as this happens, you will gradually start to lose the pep and vitality you had in your youth. The sooner you clean out your colon, the sooner you will regain your youthful energy.
Facial Wrinkles: Facial lines and wrinkles start right in the colon. Toxins from the colon will age the tissues of the skin and cause it to sag and wrinkle. The best way to keep your skin smooth and wrinkle-free is to start cleaning out your colon.
Poor Sex Life: A toxic colon is one of the greatest causes of a poor sex life. How could anyone fully enjoy sex when he has up to fifteen years of encrusted fecal matter and mucus in his colon? HE CAN'T-and HE DOESN'T. I have gotten so many letters from people who regained the sexual potency of their youth after they went on my colon cleansing program. One woman wrote to me and told me that her husband wasn't going to divorce her now because their sex life had improved so much. Cleaning out her colon saved her marriage. It happens all the time. So if you want to remain sexually potent for your entire life, start cleaning your colon today. And if I can at my age, I know you can at your age, go get with it!
Infertility: One couple I know was not able to have a child in their fourteen years of married life. After both the husband and wife cleaned out their colons (it took them about a year), they were then able to give birth to their first child. They eventually had a second child. I was able to father a son at the age of 81 and the main reason I could do so was because my colon was clean.
A CLEAN COLON RESULTS IN:
1. Tremendous energy 2. Smooth, wrinkle free skin,
3. Great, energetic sex 4. Fertility into your eighties
IRONS: Most people are aging because they are walking cesspools. They are literally rotting and decaying from the inside out.
HEALTHVIEW: How exactly does a diseased colon cause premature aging?
IRONS: It's the poisons. That's what the problem is. Poisons from a toxic colon will travel to every part of the body such as the heart, the brain, the kidneys, and the liver and age these organs prematurely. There is no part of a person's body which cannot be affected by a toxic colon. The poisons from a backed up colon will eventually seep into every single cell in the body and cause grave health problems. What would happen if you didn't empty your kitchen garbage can for months and you kept on throwing more and more food on top of it? Wouldn't your entire house start smelling like a garbage dump? Well, the same thing happens with a constipated, clogged up colon. The stench and fumes will permeate the entire body-including your skin, your teeth, your eyes, and even your nerves. NO PART OF YOUR BODY IS IMMUNE FROM THE POISONS OF A TOXIC COLON. It is the toxic filth in our systems, which kills us. That is why people age so rapidly today-their own internal filth is killing them. Most people are aging because they are walking cesspools. They are actually rotting and decaying from the inside out.
HEALTHVIEW: Does the medical profession acknowledge that a toxic colon can cause any health problems?
IRONS: I do
